life is sims!!

i kind of completely forgot i took screenshots of my ridiculous life is strange sims world but i've been... watching over them for a long time and its just so fun!!! here are some of the highlights. actually a lot of them because, chaos theory, a lot of crazy stuff happens...

okay im not completely sure why but like EVERYONE hated chloe for some reason and every conversation would result in a vicious argument so... i had to reset them.

well.....

kate marsh successfully beats up a burglar with a GUN. love her.

so SOMEHOW chloe, kate and max all caught on fire and DIED... obviously i cheated to bring them back from ghosts but they were mourning their own deaths for like seven weeks. crazy times.

library trip! everyone was beefing for no reason at all but i love a bit of drama

this one kid was insulting like everyone but PARTICULARLY chloe and she was not having it. or now that i look at it those are two different kids which begs the question... why are children hating on chloe????? help???

kate marsh destroying mr jefferson as she should!!!! there was also a totally historic event where the whole gang came to his house and just bullied him.

anyways. i have had a crazy time. honestly sims is really fun if you just make them do the most insane things! you should all have your own messed up life is strange universes. its totally rad.

so hey! i installed a bunch of mods so i don't even know what's happening anymore. also if you're wondering i linked all the cc i used for the characters here and you can find them on the sims gallery by searching 'life is strange pigpen0', i also got some CC for max's room here and then i just downloaded it from the gallery and placed it in my game! so yeah hope that helps anyone who wanted that :)

max was trying her best to put out the fire all by herself

i'm a pro at this point, having moved past the trauma of like half the gang being on fire so chloe calls the police AND the fire department...

NEITHER THE POLICE NOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BELIEVE THEM??? ARE YOU CEREAL

eventually the darth vader dude ran away and max finished putting out the fires, and miraculously nobody died....

(fan game) life is strange: lost and found!!!!!

hey guys!

so i've been planning a sort of visual novel game recently which will build on a python game that i made that allows you to go to blackwell and meet a bunch of characters :) it would include a lot of choices and consequences -- a bit like Love is Strange! i love that game but i wanted to avoid something too similar, so here's the general idea for mine:

play as a student in blackwell at the start of the new school year -- everyone else is new, so you can make friends and meet a bunch of people!

the core characters you could meet would be max, chloe, rachel, kate, warren and victoria, though if i finish, i might add more people! :) [such as steph and dana]

the first week is composed of a few different subjects which you get to try out, and work with a partner (of your choice!!!) to complete your lesson tasks

there's a prom coming up in a couple of days! you get to ask a character if they'd like to go with you :)

since it's just me working on it as a fun project, it's a little less ambitious than Love is Strange, haha :D but i hope it'll be fun to play when complete! also your choices totally impact your outcome ^^ the next couple of months are unfortunately horrendously busy but i hope i can find time to work on it, and i'll post updates!

lo and behold, the game so far. it looks like a mess because it is! i'm just using images from google (the text box is from animal crossing) for now to figure out the story haha :D

(if anyone is wondering i did change the title since 'welcome to blackwell' is also the name of an official LiS book you can buy haha :))

hey guys!! recently ive been ill so its given me a chance to work more on my game :) ive been editing it heavily on a separate project so you probably havent noticed any changes, but i've replaced the old code now :D i've changed quite a lot of things and i have more plans to improve/add things!

life is strange text game!! welcome to blackwell

explore blackwell academy and meet some characters from the game :)

character customisation:

originally i couldn't decide whether you play as max or an original character, i decided to go just customisable route because then you can always name yourself 'max'! there's no visual customisation because this is a text-based game, but you can choose your name and also your pronouns that characters can use for you :)

(for some events you can also choose outfits and things like that!)

dialogue:

i added dialogue so it's a little longer and a lot less dry :D i'll be adding more detail to each interaction whenever so yeah! im happy about this one

i actually added a scene with him in the classroom now! you can also sit with him at lunch but that's not COMPLETE so....

FINALLY finished the cafeteria scene (warren in progress! :)

i finished the cafeteria scenes for kate, victoria and steph so far! :) i have plans for what will happen after that, but i believe it's still a little buggy so i gotta work on that.

anyways, thank you for the interest, i'll continue working on it when i have the energy, although i think soon i might consider making a ren'py project (visual novel), or a game more focused on one character :)
