For the character post, you mentioned not knowing there were other languages in FFXIV: The Seekers (and Miqo'te as a whole) had a language to themselves before they immigrated to Eorzea and used their alphabet to determine Clans. Roegadyn (their tongue: Rain Men) have a separate language, which is what the Sea Wolves based their names on. Doman and Raen names are based on a JPN-ish language as well as the Xaela having a Mongolian-esque language to themselves.

I wasn’t the one that asked that, but I think the person I reblogged it off of had that in the post (I forgot to remove it), so I’ll post this for informative reasons in case that person can see it.
