#ka7k Al Eid my mama notorious Ka7k nothing beats a bit of mama xx blessings of Eid. Ramadan was really hard for me this year I fasted in all 5 days which is the least I have ever fasted in my lifetime. Fasting has always been one of the biggest connections for me and most humbling. The loss of that blessing was almost like grieving that's the only way I can describe it. I desoeratly tried to find ways in which to regain that feeling and connection you get when fasting, I panicked, i became angry and i questioned and then I gave in. I felt like I was being a traitor and so tried desperately to fast again and unfortunately my body could not do it. We complain when we do fast but nothing in the world can beat that feeling. The unveiling of your consciousness and repolishing of your ego, self, mind, body and soul. The replenishing of your heart and the connection to creation. When a close friend told me her 80 year old grandma was fasting I cried. Never ever forget the blessings you have because they can be taken away and never replaced again. Do not take anything for granted. That goes for everything. Thank you @marwaelborhamy for reminding me it's ok.
