You mentioned in the comments about Alice being Calcifer in the Howl's Moving Castle AU. That paints a delightful picture, and also fits because of Calcifer being a star! And she is gonna be hella protective of her best friend's heart while she's holding onto it. I know she and Robert are constantly sassing each other left, right, and center, with Chad occasionally joining in. But when it comes down to it, and Robert asks Alice if she and Chad will be okay once the latter has his heart back, she knows she can trust Robert to take care of her bestie.

Yess!! I love the idea of Alice keeping Chad's heart safe and being his source of strength. She's hella sassy especially when Robert first comes in, but the fact that she listens to him really highlights how good Robert is for them.
