my hc: aomine has a beauty mark next to his asshole, and kagami kisses it every time they have sex.
(if we believe the author) he got his tan skin mostly from sun exposure, so he probably has a lot of moles👁️👅👁️ like at the edge of his lips where skin begins, above his nipple, along his lower lash line half hidden by his lashes, or on the side of his neck - the big and dark ones as well as the small barely visible ones, but kagami notices every single one and adores them all.

火青の日2018!
what I like about pre-canon meeting aoka is that they are both such sad kids. Taiga just came back from the US, heartbroken after his friend break-up with Tatsuya, and then he met Daiki who was also heartbroken because basketball is not the same anymore. The way that this is their chance to reignite each other's flames. Taiga found the one person that doesn't ostracize him in Japan and Daiki found his one true rival that can make basketball fun again.
While Interhigh and Winter Cup proceed the same as canon, Daiki's loss during Winter Cup will push him into an even bigger spiral because he's so afraid of not being enough for Taiga yet feels tired of always being in the spotlight. He's torn because the way Akashi puts him on a pedestal is cold and merciless, while Taiga feels at home. Warm and deserving. As if, he shouldn't feel guilty every time he wins against Taiga because Taiga actually works on and is vocal about defeating him, making him look forward to Taiga's progress, and making him feel that winning has a reason.
To be Taiga's motivator.
But since he never actually loses until the Winter Cup, the trauma during Teikou comes back in full force making him forget that Taiga still loves him whether he lost or won. What's interesting is, that Taiga will probably work hard on bringing Daiki out of his spiral. It reminded him of when Tatsuya punched him, saying that he pitied him for having an injury when no, Taiga just wanted things to go back to the way it was. That their bond shouldn't just be measured by wins and losses and that Taiga really just wants to play basketball with Daiki. Isn't that why Daiki loves playing with Taiga?
Sweet, sweet angst. Talking isn't their strongest pursuit but I know Daiki can shamelessly say the sappiest shit in public once he realizes Taiga's true feelings.
M. W. Beckwith (1917): In most cases the ʻaumakua has the power to take either human or animal shape. Most old Hawaiian hero tales are based upon the exploits of some supernatural being born as a rope, a chicken, or in some abortive form, cast out to die, but, being nurtured by a seer, survives to avenge family wrongs at the hands of well-nigh invincible foes, to furnish culture gifts, or ‘undertake strange adventures. Hence follow a number of transformation stories, of which the tale of the pig-god, Kamapuaʻa, and of the shark Kamohoaliʻi, brother to Pele of the volcano, are the most popular survivals.
