Thank you for the ask!! Let's go. So I've figured out my oc's name— it's Kaaval (kah-ah-va-ll). It means protector. The word's got more nuance than that, it's like, this is your guy, this is who's protecting you, you're safe with them. She was one of the first of the wolf witchers to be experimented on, only woman that survived, the other few were boys. I still have a lot to think abt this tbh I'll prolly have to end up digging into old witcher lore rip.
She's really outcast-ed and ostracized because 1) literally one of the few female witchers but somewhat more importantly 2) she's extremely against making new witchers. she thinks no kid should ever ever ever ever go thru that shit and she's outspoken abt it for like, decades—
and then she never goes back home. she visits sometimes, then leaves for years again. after a long stretch, she doesn't go back till she hears abt the sacking of kaer morhen, which is a couple years after it happened 'cause she's not so keen on being in contact w other witchers, no matter what school. she's younger than vesemir, older than lambert, geralt, and eskel lol but she gets along w lambert like dry wood to fire uwu
