He looks so... scared, anxious, holding onto what he believes for comfort, his three fingered hands praying with a rosary, just as human as anyone.

Okay, first of all I must address that I'm just giving my opinion here. I've seen a lot of posts defending her so I've taken into account other points of view, some I agree some not and I wil be try and be as fair as I can.
That being said..
Her self sabotaging tendencies
While I do uderstand that is a big characteristic of her person and gives her more depth as a big flaw I cannot ignore that.. that's what it is. A flaw. That causes her most if not ALL of her problems in the game.
Her smoking while she is asthmatic (which causes her to need those red ring lung things), her giving up before really trying (playground scene), dismissing people that try to help her before even hearing them out (donut shop scene). And although this is but a glimpse of these tendencies we do see a pattern here.
She sets to do something, messes up against better judgement/common sense/advise from others, gets upset about it, tries to fix it but then gives up before actually trying then depends on someone/something else to push her through it.
Could have stopped smoking, but didn't. so she got involved with Shroud. Depending on his machine to keep her alive.
Could have listened to Robbert but didn't so she now had to rely on his pep talk to lift her up because as guilty as she felt for what he did to him she didn't even tried when itcame to "fix" (in her eyes) what she did.
Could have waited herself to make a plan with the others instead of jumping headfirst into looking for the astral pulse herself. Yes I know Robbert can agree or dsagree with her idea but regardless.. it was a stupid idea. That she then had to rely on others to save her.. again.
NOW. With this I am not saying you cannot rely on others for help or that she was doomed from the start.
WHAT I mean to say is that we cannot apply that "you should be able to rely on others for help"to EVERY situation. Invisigal gets HERSELF in peril and if it weren't for OTHERS she'd be dead.
All of these situations were ✨preventable✨
She is not a functional adult and she acts more like a teenager.
And okay, it's alright not to have your shit together, it happens. But IS a problem when it causes harm to yourself and others.
And although everyone deserves help and support, you cannot just frequently rely on it and not improve.
But Kabra, she does improve in the story.
Yes! and that's fantastic, that's what kept me engagd with her character, the possibility of improvement and self growth.
The thing is that she regresses hard after the housewarming party.
Yes, Chase was being antagonistc and honestly? I see that scene more as of the writters needed conflict to push her into recklessness, it feels less as Chase talking and more like the writters talking through him.
But then she goes and throws her progress on the bin. Still punches people when she is too frustrated, still acts without listening to others, still puts herself in danger and has to get saved by others.
But Kabra she didn't know there were going to be villians there.
And that is exactly the problem with not having a plan, Vizi.
But Kabra she was a villian when she did all that bad stuff.
First of all, that is an explanation, not an excuse. And second, wasn't this whole joining the Z team idea hers? wasn't she the one who said she wanted to be better? and yet, she gives up even when she had the chance to.
But Kabra, of course she's not gonna be perfect she is an ex-villian.
Yet again, an explanation not an excuse. She is given a chance after chance after chance.
She says herself she quit Shroud's team the next day after exploding Robbert. So that means she had MONTHS worth of opportunities. Yet she remained bottom of the leader board. Was that because the plot needed Robbert to be the one to fix her? yeah.
But then there's the whole she was a spy for Shroud the whole time thing.
What I'd like to know is.. why? WHY did the writters included that at the end of the game?
Because that actually would change Vizi's character a LOT.
If she was a Spy from the begining then why does all of her perceived growth matter? because ultimately as genuine as it was, wouldn't matter because she was sabottaging the team the entire time.
If she was a Spy for the duration of the climax which is the most likely scenario.
THEN THE WHOLE GUILTRIP OF ROBBERT NOT TRUSTING HER IS WORSE.
That means she was sneaking in WITH the astral pulse to rob the suit. That ,means we were right not to trust her. That means that the "mentor points" we loose in the last act are completely ON HER.
And even if I could inquire or hope she was gonna use the suit to fight Shroud herself?
Sneaking in and not telling Robbert ANYTHING when asked is sus AF. GURL. JUST TELL HIMIF YOU'RE INNOCENT!
Also another reason this writting part of the plot makes no sense, if Shroud knew she had the astral pulse why bother setting her up as a spy? why not just take the Astral pulse from her since he 1. knew and 2. she was working for him. One could argue this is cuz he saw the future where he gets the astral pulse only by confronting Robbert but it is never stated so we can just assume? I guess???
2. The constant harrasment of Robbert Robertson III
Okay so. This is my biggest problem with Invisigal. The game might as well be called Male SA is funny simulator.
I'm gonna start with this one defense of her I saw on a post, not gonna tag the OP cuz I don't wanna bother them, they are entitled to their opinions.

She: Spies on Robbert getting changed. Gets into the Men's bathroom while other's are there. Openly tells him about the wet dream she had of him. Kisses him without his consent AND stops him from pushing him away.
And uh yeah, she will NOT stop making sexual jokes about him or to him.
ALL of this while knowing she is the one that fucked up this guy's life.
In-fact, I’m going to give a hot take that many of you may not like: I think it’s blatant sexism. Blatant fucking sexism.
How are these critques sexist??? explain????? All of what I've personally seen is calling her out for being so weird and creepy around Robbert. I am sure there are instances of people disliking her for beinmg a woman because well, there'll always be that kinda person in the crowd.
Be a man or girl or any gender I'd still dislike the character.
Yes, she’s a bitch. Yes, she’s sexually vulgar. If you DON’T want her to be a massive cunt, mentor her and she’ll be less of a nuisance. If you failed to mentor her and you got the bad ending, that is YOUR FAULT. While it is also hers, it is MAINLY yours.
How the hell is our fault and responsability to make sure someone else's actions don't suck? I mean yeah it's a mechanic of the game, but a really shitty one. She's not a kid. She's an adult I will hold her to adult standars.
This is the problem of her relying on our actions for her character growth as a mechanic. It makes it feel as if it is entirely on us if she is a decent person or not, as if taking agency from her.
I coulddd understand it more if our actions were more drastic, like being rude to her for no reason or discouraging her from doing good directly.
But it's not like that. We can only "turn her to good" by constantly coddling her and forgiving everything she does. That is not how ppl work. If you coddle and forgive someone being a massive asshole all the time guess what? THEY'LL BECOME WORSE.
People NEED to be called out for their bad behaviour to grow. If not they'll just think they're right all the time no matter how crappy they are.
If this is STILL an issue to you, then maybe Dispatch isn’t a game you should be playing. Go play something else."
I loved dispatch's game overall, really I did! going on my third playthrough rn. The game is really fun and engaging. But I can still dislike things about it, it's not an all or nothing experience, it has nuance. Just like all things.
And yes, the way they handled Vizi is a big problem to me.
They made her incredibly important for the story, so her actions and words matter A LOT to the game's narrative.
I saw another Post comparing her and Flambae's actions but not gonna directly quote it here cuz this shit is already LONG.
But TLDR: Flambae's actions are just as bad as Vizi's.
Well yes but actually no.
See, Flambae has actual reasons to be hostile towards Robbert once he finds out he is Mechaman. Trying to kill him was not okay OBVIOUSLY and singing a whole song about Robbet's tiny peen, being a bitch and erectile disfunction is very inmature and weird when he is indeed his boss.
And Flambae does contantly diminishes Robert and looks down on him wich again is still workplace harrasment.
The thing is that they are bad in different ways.
While Flambae is petty, inmature and codesending towards Robert, that song is the only time he talks about Robert's body. He does punch Robert, but it's not because of being called out for being an asshole, it's because he is pissed at Robert for sending him to jail. which is understandable. NOT excuseable tho.
Vizi does it CONSTANTLY, she is always going for a sexual joke.
I will criticize Flambae where it's due (and all the other characters for that matter, looking at you Prism and Malevola) But in terms of harrasing Robert they are in different leagues.
Flambae emasculates Robbert (bc he is probably insecure af) while Vizi harrases him.
And at the end Flambae shows actual growth, WITHOUT BEING CODDLED or prompted to, he takes a day off, thinks of it then gets back to it. (He shows up to Robert's place and brings a gift, yes he punched him but again he had an actual reason to even if it doesn't excuse it, Vizi punched Robert bc he called her out on her bs we cannot equate these situations because they have different contexts. Not because is a man vs woman thing but because of their character)
Flambae advocates for Vizi, do you actually think Vizi would have done the same for him given the chance?
I really have no in game reason to believe that.
If Flambae had done all the things Vizi did I'd dislike him too. Just as much.

Chase wouldn't had need to save her if she hadn't gone. Chase did it cuz he is ultimately a good person. It was not an accident, it was an action thatresulted from her decisions. Even if it wasn't her fault she was cornered, it was reckless to go in alone. That is why having a plan was better.
Again, there was no way of knowing shroud would be there. So that i not a plus. If the writers had included that she had somehow found out Shroud was heading there thus making her act out of impulse that'd be more understandable. It was not a concious decision to make good it was MERE CHANCE Shroud showed up for all we know.
They never tell how everyone found out where the astral pulse was. All we got was Vizi's comment about it being leaked to a villian groupchat. (again dumb ass writting choice) I find it believeable that Shroud would know cuz of his powers, other than that, who the hell knows really.
If Vizi hadn't gone and Shroud got the Astral pulse it would have been NOBODY's fault, cuz they had NO WAY of knowing. We cannot say that Vizi's actions were justified whn she acted out of impulse without backup or even telling nobody, got herself in danger, almost lost the ONE THING she was supposed to get then doesn't even show up to apologize nor comfort Robert when everyone else is at least trying to cooperate doing their job.
I don't blame Vizi directly for Chase almost dying, but we cannot act as if she getting herself in peril didn't contribute to Chase's choice.
Yadda yadda, domino effect.
Now that all that is out of the way...
Instances in wich Vizi was being fucking weird about Robbert:
Watching Robbert change clothes without him knowing.
Saying she is wet after a minute of knowing him.
Saying she finds his beat up body attractive.
Making a sexual joke to Robbert no matter what fucking flavor of donnut he chooses.
Punching him for being rightfully called out.
Going into the men's bathroom while Robbert is there and shirtles then immediately telling him about her wet dream with him.
Making yet another joke of him jacking off in the suit his grandfather AND father died in.
Calling him a pervert to the Bouncer at the bar.
Hmm I feel like I'm forgetting something-
She.. flashes him. Yes to show the red ring's aumentations of her lungs.. but was there REALLY not other way to show him the big reaveal? was this necessary? really. really? really?
And then she goes to kiss him after confessing she almost killed him, he tries to stop her for a moment EVEN IF YOU HAVEN'T CHOOSEN TO LEAN IN YET but she holds his arm to stop him.
ew. just. ew.
Okay so, to be fair Vizi is not the only one that makes sexual comments or jokes about Robbert. This is a bit of a problem with the game overall I believe. Like when Prism asks if he is packing to Vizi after she saw him strip. Or when Malevola tries to grab his groin. Or Flambae's entire song segment.
BUT. But, Vizi is the only one constantly doing it.
It's not funny it's not quirky it's not just a joke. It's gross.
Sexism? Sexism is also dismissing Male SA guys.
Again, this doesn't change because she is a woman.
Time to be that guy here: If a MAN saw a girl strip to her undies without her knowing, said he got hard as a joke after it, said that he is into her body type, making sexual jokes around this girl especifically, punched her after being called out for being an ass, entered the woman's bathroom while one is shirtless, while also openly talking of a wet dream he had with her, calling her a pervert to a stranger and FLASHING HER then kissing her without her permision even after she tries to push him... he'd be called every name under the sun, cancelled, crucified and burnt on the stake.
Can we acknowlage that? please.
Also yes I do know that Robbert Jabs back at her, but honestly? most of them is him dismissing her tries of a joke.
While she goes on about the donut thing he basically answers "oh yeah your dirty joke was so funny, can you focus on work again please?"
While she talks of the wet dream his answers are also very dismissive, hmm, perhaps because HE WAS TAKING OFF BROKEN PIECES OF GLASS IN HIS CHEST? and a lil too busy to entertain her while on the Men's bathroom???
Not gonna lie, for me, PERSONALLY, it feels like the writers' weird fetish. To have a hot hypersexual woman behind a guy only for him to dismiss her. Bacause this also happens in that one instance of Malevola and prism, and Robbert barely reacts??
Not saying that there's a way he should act, but the pattern is there. And THAT does feel sexist towards Vizi.
3. She doesn't take accountability.
It is not until the very end when she is about to be kicked off the team that she tells Robbert the truth.
Let's put aside everything, the harrasment, the physical assault, the creepiness.
It took her having nothing to loose to tell the truth. Not when she found out who Robbert was, not when she made progress, not when Robbert was grieving Chase's possible death, not when they started dating. (If romancing her)
It was when she had nothing to loose when she admited the truth to her mentor. (or lover if romancing her)
Which leads me to believe: would she have kept it secret if she wasn't being kicked out? That's a genuine question since we are never given an indication she would have.
As close and intimate as Robbert and her become she never even hints at wanting to tell him, just silently feeling guilty for it.
Another thing to include is when Vizi tells Robbert he is not a hero um, bitch? WHOSE fault is that he is not mecha anymore?? Cuz sure as hell it wasn't his. He's been a hero for years at that point when she was barely in the program for some months and doing a TERRIBLE job at it by the way cuz her ahh was getting kicked out seemingly due to her lack of effort.
I will not mention the sabotaging thing bc that shift EVERYONE does it, terrible job team you gave us nothing.
✨Conclusions✨
It's so so very obvious the writers wanted you to date Vizi.
Both the way Robbert responds to her actions and how nobody calls her out on her creep behaviour, even Blond Blazer, that she is what we call ther writer's pet.
And the writing quality decreases for it.
Objectively, Vizi is at the very least a pervert and a bad person that you are obligated to cater to in order to get the "best" ending.
If you like her? that's your problem. But one cannot just brush off how actually gross her actions are.
Even if it was intended for her to be this way it does not excuse it.
"that's the point of her character" only goes so far. And while it is an explanation it is not an excuse.
It's not true character growth when nobody calls her out, when the game caters to her route even when not romancing her, when everything needs to be forgotten and forgiven just for her to actually try to be better.
It is not unproblematic just because you think it isn't.
Again, everyone is entitled to their opinions and interpretations, but don't tell me I cannot dislike a character because of who they are AS A PERSON.
As a character? Vizi feels like a writer's pet.
As a person? I wouldn't touch her with a 20 meter pole.
Overall I don't think she is misunderstood like other women characters that get overhated, I think she is just an asshole and the story revolves too much around her.

Ps. the game would benefit from more romance options or no romance at all I believe. Making Vizi so important to the plot hindered greatly any other posible romance options because even not romancing her she is still at the center of it all.
Imagine finding out everyone was involved with Shroud to a degree and you could get to know each more personably with each route. So many potential... sigh.
The characters overall are very well written I believe but at times you can TELL the writers made a character do a thing instead of the character naturally taking certain actions.
