You could feel his eyes burning into me as I rode my horse around the pen. You looked up under your eyelashes, there he was, watching you like you was his target. Rip, your dad stood next to him, keep an eye on you and making sure you didn’t fall off again. You took your eyes off Ryan and went back to riding until you heard someone say my your name. “Y/n!” You looked up to see your dad’s wife, Beth. You got off my horse and walked over to her. Dad was walking her way as well. “Hey, Beth. What’s up?” You asked her. She smiled at you, “you busy before dinner?” she asked. You looked to your dad and he gave you a questioning look. You looked back at Beth, “nope,” you said. Beth smiled at you, “come by our house, need your help with something,” she said before turning to Rip and kissing him. Your dad looked at you, “I wanna talk to you about something,” he said as he put his arm around your shoulders. You looked around and seen Ryan smiling at us, what are they up to?
You and Rip stopped in front of Ryan, “when were you going to tell me?” your dad asked. You looked between Rip and Ryan. No one knew about you and Ryan dating for the last 6 months, you tried to play it off, “tell you what dad?” Rip looked at Ryan then to you, “Ryan told me about how you and him. I’m happy if you are. You were supportive of me and Beth so I can do that for you and Ryan,” he said looking at you then to Ryan, “but if you hurt my baby girl, I’ll make sure your life is hell till the day you die boy,” dad warned Ryan. you could feel the tension bouncing off dad so you stood in between the boys and put my hand on dad’s chest, “dad, Ryan has been nothing but a gentlemen, trust me,” you reassured dad. You smiled and kissed Ryan’s cheek, “can I have a moment with dad?” You asked him. He gave you the sweetest smile that always makes your heart melt, “sure sweetheart,” he said then gave your dad a nod.
You hugged your dad, “thank you dad,” you told him. He gave a tight hug back then pulled back, “but id he ever does something to you and your not comfortable you tell me,” he said with a serous tone. You smiled at dad, “well dad, we haven’t been there yet. We are waiting for the right time, we don’t want to rush things,” You told him. You could see the weight been lifted off his shoulders, “as in you and him in different beds?” You let out a little laugh, “we’ve slept in the same bed but nothing more than kissing and hugging.” Dad chuckled and hugged you again, “your still my baby girl even if your an adult.”
