He feared.
Not for himself, but for the other him.
Ever since the moment his own self split, he knew for a fact that there was no way to convince the other of cooperating. Death hung up on their heads, one had faced it -- a phantom pain carved in the middle of his body. Whilst the other lead a life Akira (the demon, the monster, the saviour-- a devilman) envied, he knew that robbing him of it would be unfair. Yet, what he was doing seemed more crueler than the truth.
Wings laid wide, while he looked above the corner of a building. He was rather annoyed, as his other self had ran off somewhere into the Red Light District of the Cotes Ward. A terrible choice in his opinion, as well the bad aftertaste it could bring to his mouth given his first and last experience there.
“He’s not going to enjoy it here at all. Their memories might cross and his fight with Silene was quite -- Akira shook his head, a hand going through his hair in an attempt to keep himself composed. When he looked back, he found another person that seemed to have the same idea as he did.
“You’re also looking for someone? Or trying to hide? Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone.”
