without thinking about it, archer reaches out as soon as they spot her, their fingers brushing through the very ends of her hair for a quick moment. they don't realize that it's not exactly polite to touch strangers— instead, they look too excited to really pay any possible boundaries she might have any mind.

   ' oh! we have the same colour hair ... well, kind of! ' using that same hand to brush through the ends of their longer strands, archer points the blue ends of one of them towards her. ' i have some blue and green, as well ... but most of it is white! like yours! i've never seen a human with that type of hair before. '

   his voice is jovial as break crawls out from underneath one of the tables, a tablecloth now partially draped over his head. it tilts and falls when he seats himself next to the table instead, crossing his legs in his lap, regarding the person close by.

   ' did you happen to see an enchoolet around here anywhere? i don't know what it is either, but i've been tasked by one of the pixies to find one of their lost toys. ' is it a toy? he's not sure. he was happy to accept the request, though, perfectly content with escapading through an environment that's mostly mess and as unnormal as it'll get, furniture of all sizes and colours, alongside a trail he's supposed to be following. ' i'd appreciate any help i can get! '

Legato has been loitering outside this strange little apparent home goods store for... a while now. Mostly because he overheard some others coming out and tittering to each other about disguised treats and how fun it was to bite into objects that turned out to be sweets. He's torn really. He does want to go in and investigate but...

Well. He did have some modicum of dignity and pride and going about biting things at random in a store would go directly against keeping what image he had.

But he wanted to go in and explore the treats and wasn't afraid to bite random objects to do so. Decisions, decisions.

His thoughtful frown is only disturbed when a familiar face he hadn't seen in a while appears nearby and he blinks at Kachina for a moment before offering a smile that manages to be friendlier then any that he'd managed that first time.

"Hello Kachina, it's been a while since we last met. Are you enjoying the festivities?" He's missing the heavy coat from before, replaced with a hoodie that's too big for him, and his eyes are more tired and stressed but clearer somehow. He just looks a little softer then before, much less of a manic glint in his eyes.

🌸 Put a flower in my muse’s hair

When Kachina had gestured urgently for him to come down and lean in he hadn't thought much of it. Apparently she'd wanted to tell him something so he indulged her and leaned down. Legato wasn't expecting the hands in his hair, or the slight, new weight that now adorned blue locks. He'd startled but didn't pull away, letting her finish before raising a hand to brush the tips of his fingers over the flower now securely tucked into his hair.

Pretty, she said. He didn't much care for the descriptor but it didn't grate as much coming from her, didn't raise his hackles and make his fingers twitch for his threads. He'd keep it, he decided. It could stay.

After all, he was trying this whole 'friends' thing.
