Favorite Book: There are a lot of books I enjoy. Despite their issues (and there are a lot of them) I enjoy the Dresden Files series. Dead Beat may be my favorite in the series, followed by Changes (I initially used fan art of a character from the series for Ana Sophia, and the character was in part inspiration for her). I’m not sure I could call them my favorite though. I really enjoy John Dies at the End (and the sequel, This Book is Full of Spiders (Seriously, Dude, Don’t Touch It)).
Actually, perhaps Dune would be my favorite. I think it may be the one book that has stuck with me the longest. I first read it way way back in middle school. It’s a bit dry (haha) but the world building is amazing, and I find myself going back to it more and more lately for inspiration with my own sci-fi writing.
Do you have a talent?:I’d like to consider myself a pretty solid writer. I know I need improvement, but I’m working hard at becoming better. I also consider myself a pretty decent singer, but I probably shouldn’t judge my own voice and I never sing for others. Maybe if there is ever a karaoke night and I’m drinking.
Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, or Pride?: Wrath, probably. I have a pretty bottomless supply of Being Angry, but I’m good at controlling it. A lot better than I was as a kid, anyways. Pride and envy and sloth too, probably, to a smaller degree. Less the rest.
What kind of clothing do you wear?: Usually my work clothes, red shirt and jeans. When I’m not at work, I’m at home, so sweat pants or pajama pants, sometimes a tanktop in summer, longsleeves in winter. When I go out and I’m not working (lol, like that happens), I wear jeans or shorts and whatever shirt I grab out of my dresser. Winter/fall I get to be fancy and wear a jacket and scarf. I don’t really think I have any sort of style that is specific to me with clothing. Just whatever I like and is comfortable.
😊 and my name is Nika! It might be interesting to you too to know that my actual name, Nikola, is a male Polish name because my parents screwed up. I don't know why I shared that but this is where we are. I love your mood boards and how well you match your colors so I am very excited to see what you come up with! 😊😊😊
Nika: glowing embers, bitter black coffee, worn-out combatboots, the feeling of adrenaline in your veins right after a fight

mags n khalila
Most admirable quality: Margaret has drive and commitment where the rest of the coterie lack it. Even if she’s drinking or partying, she still keeps on task while others are distracted. All of Khalila’s relationships are working relationships, so... good stuff. Most attractive physical feature: That’s a toss-up between her bright red mane and her piercing eyes. Though there’s a certain swagger to her walk that makes Khalila pay attention, as she finds anyone who can live so outwardly inherently interesting. Most annoying habit: Margaret’s obviously been through a lot and Khalila is weak on people who carry their baggage despite their stoicness, but Mags still has a tendency to let things boil to the surface and react rashly. She’s basically a Brujah... and that disruption can get on her nerves.Something they would like to do with them: Hang out with a few drinks in a non-corruption-den setting and prove once and for all that Khalila is FUN and can do FUN things aside from just talk about her kid like a lonely grandma...
Rope ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), Poison, Eau de toilette, Box Office
Do you have a fetish?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)........
Honestly I’m pretty vanilla, but I will say I appreciate some auditory aspects and certain locations in... media...
Do you have an addiction?
Not to like a substance or anything, though tbh part of the reason I rarely drink is out of a worry I’d become dependent on it. Probably food? Especially the grilled kind served by a benevolent monarchy on a sesame seed bun.
What is you favorite scent?
Man I was so into perfume and junk a while ago. My favorites are usually ones that have a lemony or citrus scent. I’m a little hit or miss with foodie perfumes but most of my favorites fit in that category.
(Fire Pig, Éclat, and Riding in the Palanquin are my faves...)
What is your favorite film?
I’ve always been really fond of Amelie. it’s weirdly nostalgic for me. I remember where I was in my life when I first saw it, and I thought then that I wanted it to look back at everything with the same satisfaction as the eponymous main character ultimately does. The soundtrack is also easily one of my favorites and just as formative, I think.
👑 👿 💀 Maryem, Khalila and R'chard.
Maryem: 👑 …someone my muse is jealous of.
Marjorie Galawain is an easy person to be jealous of. She makes nearly anything she does look flawless, keeps her cool when other Dawnguard fall to bitterness and anger, and has a storied legacy that others will recognize as something that cannot be tarnished. She upholds ridiculous old notions about chivalry and makes others believe in them through her presence. She is overall a positive presence in Maryem’s life though, so most of the time her best traits are merely admirable, instead of envy-inducing.
Khalila: 👿 …someone my muse used to like, but doesn’t anymore.
Khalila’s sire was only known to her and others in her unit as “al-Farsi,” the Persian, both before and after her embrace. He was a member of a minority Sufi sect in the 18th Century who, much like his childe, was embraced after he gave his all and failed to save his people from annihilation but swore to fight on in the name of revenge. Immediately the two had taken to each other, especially after Davit died and their daughter Narineh was sent away. Their common origins made al-Farsi all the more eager to teach her what he knew, and she to learn; though the training was arduous she never complained, even breaking herself to excel where she initially lacked.
Of course, al-Farsi was a man who had sworn and undertaken his revenge long ago and now worked within the most extreme Loyalist faction of the Assamites, waiting for the return of someone who could reclaim Alamut’s lost glory. His goals were more political and wide-reaching than Khalila’s, and though he still believed that his clan should guide and protect kine, his interpretation of that old directive was a ruthless one. He taught Khalila just how to coax out a kindred in hiding. If she was young, her family and kine friends made easy targets. If not, his ghouls or childer would do just as well. Any Camarilla presence within the Levant and Anatolia was treated this way by his allies, he explained. It was how they would clear the way for their great ancestor’s resurgence.
Realizing that she was getting involved in something far larger than anything she had imagined before and wanting to protect her daughter (who’d just written to her long-lost parents a few years prior) rather than slaughter another’s family, she used al-Farsi’s trust in her to make up a reason to escape the Middle East and flee to America. Their relationship had been a familial, even loving one insofar as their aims allowed it to be, but now Khalila dreads al-Farsi’s judgment more than she looks back fondly on her past training.
R'chard: 💀 …someone my muse would kill for.
R’chard has a young cousin within his family, a holdover from when the two branches plotted against one another to see which heir would be the next head. R’chard’s mother ensured that he would lead the family and eventually earn it distinction in the peerage; however, her son was not so eager to kill off or send away his rival Mortains. The specific cousin in question, Fleurine, is technically a hostage used to ward off her aunts and uncles. She is a bright child with a wit soon growing quicker and sharper than R’chard’s own, and though she is just now becoming aware of her position in the household she spends the most time with R’chard and treats him as an older brother.
He has every intention of leaving the barony to Fleurine if he should die without a wife and heir, and would sooner kill her family if they came for her than touch a hair on her head--still, the threat is there, as empty as it may be.
🌟👍😉💗💘 TADASHI-KUN
What is my muse’s sexual/romantic orientation?
I could flippantly call him gay, but it’d be more accurate to say that he’s only ever been involved with other men. He isn’t repulsed by women, though he also hasn’t really sought out companionship from either sex.
Does my muse prefer to be asked on a date, or would they rather do the asking?
Probably be asked, even though he’d respond irritably to most who did. He doesn’t like random intrusions, as we’ve learned, and a stranger coming onto him would be a huge turnoff.
What are my muse’s fetishes/kinks?
I think he would want to have control over something. Maybe he could allow his partner to take the lead but it would require a good deal of trust for him to feel comfortable. Some shibari would probably be cool. Tbh he’s a little vanilla.
Has my muse ever been in love?
If you count the blood bond, then for sure. Even before his Embrace, he was attracted to his sire, so it was deepened when he became a vampire. It was shaped into resentment not too long after that, though, when Tadashi learned that Tsutomu hadn’t necessarily felt the same kind of affection for him as much as a need to repopulate his chantry.
What are the ways my muse says ‘I love you’ without actually saying it?
Taking them somewhere, or being proactive about some detail he knows is important to them, like remembering things they’ve said they liked in passing and incorporating it somehow. Being near them a lot, for someone who values his space and privacy above almost anything. Telling information about himself freely, or showing that he’s comfortable being unguarded around them. Nothing grand or sweeping, but enough to be noticed that it’s outside his norm.
4, 12, 18, 24, 36 for *spins wheel* Ana Sophia
4. When the Black Spiral Dancers attacked her home, it basically changed everything. The majority of the impact on her life is obvious, it started her on her journey and is why she is a hunter now. The trauma is less obvious though, and she tries hard to hide it.
12. I’m not sure she’s been calm since starting her journey. It’s been pretty constant excitement, anxiety, fear, and sadness for her. Possibly the time they were recovering in the cabin she was calmer than any other time with the vigil. But her calmest was probably when she was young.
18. Wisdom, definitely. She may not always be right about how wise a person is and see wisdom where it isn’t.
24. Well, if they’re at all connected to the stories she grew up with, the original coterie and Vigil, the adamantine order, the werewolf clans, she’s probably too quick to trust them. Especially given her instinct with anyone else is initial distrust.
36. She’s pretty passive aggressive to rude, or even outright violent depending on how much she dislikes them. Most of the time, though, she’s just mean to them.
