more often than not they’re a scam coming from a hacked account :((

if yw to donate or help, i wld recc donating only to those who can back up their situation with evidence, like real legal documents or photos or whatnot. even then there is still a risk of being scammed (ai generated photos, evidence faked/staged).

so imo i wld js suggest donating to legit organisations. not the best or most ideal solution but at least you won’t get scammed
