The Burns & Valentine’s Day

Kade: He uses this day as an excuse to try to rizz people. He has asked out so many people and done the wrong thing so many times that now he knows the drill. Flowers? Check. Chocolate? Check. Giant stuffy? Possibly!

He’ll get his significant other the stereotypical gift stuff and take them on a nice date, probably to see a movie. (It might not end up being a romantic one though! Feel free to punch him on the shoulder and tease him!)❤️

Dani: She doesn’t think Valentine’s Day is that big of a deal, but will be upset if her significant other doesn’t do something. A gift at least would be nice! A nice date may get you brownie points though.

She may fly a banner for her significant other expressing a short message of how she loves them. 🧡

Graham: He views it as a commercial holiday and knows that it helps boost market sales. He’s okay with not celebrating it. However, if his significant other does like and want to celebrate the holiday, he’ll do something for them.

He might send his significant other an animated e-card expressing his care. He nervously awaits their reaction and also has flowers with a corny joke on the tag.💚

Cody: He’s not really into dating at his age, but might get something nice and/or cheesy for his dad. A lot of kids view Valentine’s Day as a coupley holiday, but Charlie has instilled in his children that they can show they care for other people in their life on this day too.

He and Frankie probably agreed to get each other silly prank gifts. For other people, he may go with the typical Valentine card with a piece of candy taped to it!💛

Charlie: He celebrates and shows he cares for his family and friends along with his significant other.

A nice quiet date with flowers and chocolates to share, away from the hustle and bustle. Maybe a couple drinks to end the night.💙

Kade & Graham Both Crushing On You Headcanons

🧯Kade is very confident and will likely take to flirting with you right away

📊Graham on the other hand is more shy and will pine after you without making a move for a while

🧯Kade will make a point to show off when you’re around, especially if it’s right after a rescue and he’s still in uniform (he might be taking credit for someone else’s work though)

📊After some encouragement (likely from Boulder) Graham would probably try to talk with you about his job to make conversation, figuratively dipping his toes in the water to see if you have any interest in him and what he does

🧯Kade takes any little compliment as him winning you over

📊Whereas Graham is always second guessing if you like him just as a friend or if there is something more

If Graham found out first that both he and Kade like you:

📊Graham would back off, not wanting to compete with his brother and already feeling like he has no chance

Dating Kade Burns Headcanons

🧯 Firstly, you gotta have a sense of humor to date this guy. You and him likely have a playful relationship where you play-fight all the time and tease each other. You have to be able to take a joke.

🧯 Dinner dates. He’s not gonna see anything wrong with scarfing down food. If you can’t handle him at his messiest, you don’t deserve him at his cleanest. He’s also likely to talk with food in his mouth.

🧯 Although his table manners are less than desirable, he’ll be super impressed if you can put away half the amount of food he can. Don’t bother putting up a dainty act, he won’t judge, he loves a romantic partner that can eat. And don’t even get me started on if you can cook and/or bake. He’s half in love already.

🧯 Sports dates where you go to his practices and games to cheer him on from the sides. Seriously, if you shout things like “That’s my man!” and “Go get’em tiger!” He’s melting internally. He’ll act all confident outwardly about having ‘his own personal cheerleader’ and may be shoving it in other peoples faces, but on the inside he’s so flustered.

🧯 You have to be good with kids. It’s really a dealbreaker for him if you’re not. Maybe he doesn’t always want to admit it, but HE loves kids and he loves seeing you interact with them too. He’s not gonna bring it up, but he does want kids someday and therefore his romantic partner has to be good parent material.

🧯 Movie dates, Movie dates, Movie dates! You best believe he’s going to take you to the drive-in. And if you haven’t seen Attack Of Humungado, SHAME. Shame on you! Of course you’re going to have to watch it and its sequels with him! He’ll fill you in on everything, don’t worry.

🧯 He may have to pop out to go help rescue someone once or twice during the movie, don’t be surprised if you end up watching half of it alone, but hey! That comes with dating a rescue worker.

🧯 Further into the relationship, you’ve likely caught wind by his siblings of his, uh, hesitancy about horror (aka ghosts & gremlins). But if you like horror movies yourself, you can likely convince him to watch them with you!

🧯 At first he may try to talk you into watching anything else, NOT that he’s scared or anything. He might suggest watching some Maven Danger movies and telling you about the actor being a huge let down.

🧯 But if you tease him enough about being scared he’ll agree to watch a horror movie with you to ‘prove you wrong’. He doesn’t want you thinking he’s a wimp

🧯 About a quarter of the way through the horror movie he is on the floor in front of the couch sitting crisscross with you in his lap, his arms wrapped tightly around you. He’s watching the movie from over your shoulder and hiding behind it at every jump scare. It’s adorable.

Hello there! I saw your "dating ____" headcanons (which, btw, I enjoyed a lot! Brought all my childhood dreams to life!)

Anyway! I had a thought and it's been on my mind for a bit. Like, what if Kade befriends you and ends up liking you, but Graham (and/or Dani, it's up to you!) likes you too? I was gonna make it myself, but I'm not too too far into the show yet (currently hyperfixating on Graham)
