Thanks for this tidbit! I always assumed it was rude because they weren’t getting the same title/respect as their male counterparts. As if being called queens somehow downgraded them.. I didn’t know pharaoh wasn’t even used during their time!

Google says “a town has a population of 1,000 to 20,000”, so assuming a “small town” would be in the thousands.. This makes me realize I grew up in a village, because I sure as fuck never had anything like buzzfeed mentioned

Ahaha oh my god I’ve looked this up before and it always surprises me how they classify village/town/city. But yeah, my hometown has 8500 so it’s def a small town

Depends on how tight your binder is? Probs a bra since check ups usually involve checking your lungs/breathing and a binder could restrict. But I've worn binders to check ups before and it's 50/50 results. I mean it's not like you have to tell anyone you're wearing a binder unless you want to or it's inhibiting something they're doing

Well the sports bras I have are all even TIGHTER because they’re small and meant to squish down and I honestly haven’t even worn one in months??? They feel weird as h*LL and tbh it’s just a more concentrated squeeze.

I’m still in the closet and a biiiiit paranoid about it getting back to my parents (even though I’m 24 and patient doctor confidentiality and all ugh) but whatever

No one ever does here, I was just a dingy and didn’t check the local weather lol

i would much rather have the random light showers, but i know the farms need the rain. im just worried if anything stronger pops up, i don’t want anyone getting hurt

at starbucks we use a bit of a unique size system, which in all honesty can serve as more of a hindrance most of the time. they are as follows:

HOT beverages (from smallest to largest) - short (typically used to hold espresso shots), tall (small), grande (medium), and venti (large). 

COLD beverages (from smallest to largest) - tall (small), grande (medium), venti (large), trenta (extra large). 

occasionally we do have specials for “mini” frappuccinos (just get a tall to be honest, it’s usually less than a dollar more for more product). 

now I get it, it took me awhile to get this all figured out when i first started getting stuff from starbucks. i also understand that some people don’t go to starbucks very often, are visiting from another country, have language barriers, or are genuinely confused/curious. 

HOWEVER, i am specifically a little irritated by people who come into our store, obviously KNOW our sizes/system and go out of their way to tell us their little nugget of “knowledge” and do so in typically a rude or condescending way. like yeah, i know, our sizes might not make the most sense, but good lord restrain yourself.
