All about Kaeris
Aside from having an extremely unusual name (he was originally Kaeron bcs Kier and Daemon, but changed my mind), he has some pretty cool powers if I say so myself.
He can:
Regenerate, will expand on that in a different post
If limbs are chopped off or lost, they will become their own weird creature thing that he can control, I'll expand on the limbs in a different post.
Can generate new organs that humans don't typically have, will expand on later
Very flexible
Durable
Very cool totally original no inspiration from anyone totally

He has decent grades, enjoys coconut pie, prefers Pepsi over coca cola, prefers cats, and likes beef
He's 16 and got his powers by exploring a shut down factory that was shut down for unknown reasons on a dare from his friend.
The factory was shut down for radioactive levels and unsafe environment
After leaving, he felt sick for a few weeks and eventually found marks growing on his chest and stomach, which is obviously alarming. Unfortunately, he worked at a Grocery store and had no health insurance with low wages. Hence, why he couldn't go to the hospital also his family isn't rich and he'd rather not have to explain why the hell he's likely sick.
He concluded he was actively dying and suffering from an incurable new illness no one's ever had before or some kind of cancer
After 2 months of being in complete pain, being fatigued, having random marks grow on his body, and feeling slow, it stopped out of nowhere. Even the marks disappeared.
While walking home one day, he encounters a man who attempts to mug him, he slices Kaeris' arm off in order to steal his wallet (which he doesn't even have because he pays with his phone)
The arm fucking does some weird mutation sequence and Kaeris' takes control of it out of panic and shock, unintentionally ending the other man's life very horribly.
He stays frozen for a while and his own arm regenerates in the spot it was in before. He ends up taking the dead man's knife and 'killing' the severed limb creature. It collapses and rots extremely fast until it became just dust.
He goes home and locks himself in his room and experiments his new powers, of course if anyone's actually interested in this dumb silly story I can share more but that is the base of his origin story and I will make another post expanding on his powers soon!!!
