kaerukouhai: [Fran : Second half ]
[[KMC: You gave a good fight. Wasn't completely impressed, but it was a solid fight. You didn't RUN AWAY like some others. So I'll give you some props for that.
Here's your 4000CY. ]]
"Che, we got separated." the young illusionist observed, obviously not liking his current situation.
Moments ago, Fran, along with his sidekic-- partner --Agito, had walked into a hallway of about a hundred deathtraps, barely avoiding two or three of them. In all that commotion, Fran didn't seem to notice that Agito was longer by his side. He just hoped that they would find each other soon, or--
-Grrraaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwr!-
Shit.
He lifted his bow and arrow, ready for any attack. His heart banged against his chest as he desperately tried to look for the monster in that hid in the unforgiving dark. Left, right, behind. The monster was nowhere to be found. Fran blinked, obviously confused. Was that just his imagination, or...
...He gasped.
Above...!
The monster lunged at him, causing Fran to drop his bow and arrow in surprise. Apparently, it had been waiting for Fran to let his guard down. It seemed to have worked, and the monster had the upper hand.
No good, no good! This is bad.
Fran winced, struggling to keep his emotionless mask as the monster clawed his torso, then his leg, then his shoulder. The wound at his arm started to open, and he was starting to see black blotches around him due to all the bloodloss. As the monster continued to inflict more wounds on the illusionist, he reached out to a nearby bow and stabbed it in the beast's mouth.
He scrambled to get his weapons, failing pathetically as his newly-injured leg started to bleed. HARD. He fell back on the ground, feeling pathetic as he imagined what it would be like if the others saw him right now. Biting his lip, he attempted to stand again; slowly but surely. The monster is still stunned from the attack, meaning he had a good amount of time to grab his weapon and kill it once and for all.
Staggering, he somehow managed to keep his balance and bent down to pick up his bow and arrow. He bit his lip even harder; the pain that was surging through his body was too much. He was already tearing up. That wasn't a good sign.
I have to...!
He turned on his heel, attempting to aim at the beast, but...
-WHACK-
The monster smacked him hard on the head, 'causing him to crumble back on the ground. The frog hat rolled off into the dark as his vision started to fade to black.
I can't...
I...
... I lost.
