Hitoshi Shinsou x GN!Reader - Soppy wet making out and adoration. Softies very much in love.
The morning light rakes through the small apartment the two of you have forged into a home only grazing the foot of your bed. It's rays not yet bearing the scorching summer heat due in only a few hours time. For now your home and your bed remain blissfully cool.
It isn't, however, the light which stirs you from your slumber. It's the shifting weight of the mattress and the humidity steaming from the vacated washroom that rouse you.
You feel the tips of his fingers first, warm and wet skimming the face of your rib cage, grazing over It's crest and settling firmly into the groove of your spine. Next is the slow exhalation of his first breath of you. Then his legs twinning among your own.
Eyes still closed you sigh, contented.
The tip of his nose seeks yours and nuzzles into you, another inhalation at the apple of your cheek. Your lips feel warm, your entire face tingling in delicious anticipation of the affection to come.
You inhale slowly, letting the scent of him fill your nostrils, your lungs, your chest, your heart. It's the intoxicating mix of him and the soap you now share - notes of sweet pine and sharp ginger all in a Hitoshi Shinsou base. When you exhale your breath mingles with his, the space between you growing charged and warm. Your lips ghost over his ever so briefly as you nuzzle into him in return, further charging the current between you.
His day ending as yours begins. The heat under your skin rising with the sun. The precious minutes ticking away where this short-lived reunion of lovers threatens to end as soon as it begins.
You don't need to open your eyes to know he's smiling. You can feel it in the soft press of his lips against yours, the corners of your mouth fondly tugging in response. When his lips pull away you gently close the gap again and again and again, each soft and delicate kiss growing wetter in the exchange of endearments.
His fingers press into you more firmly as his tongues warmly offers invitation to yours. Their meeting is brief but tender and as the gentle dance endures his attentions delve over the threshold of your lips, leg sliding up and up between your thighs.
Each parting of your kiss is met with a reunion of flesh and saliva that you both yearn for in your time apart.
Your fingers follow a familiar path up and over the ridge of his pectoral, through the dip of his clavical and around to the damp hairs at the nape of his neck. You lightly trace along the grove at the back of his skull winning you a gravely, contented hum.
He loves you.
You love him.
Another kiss.
Foreheads pressed together, nose to nose, breathing in the proximity of one another you finally open your eyes.
This you think, is a sight you want to wake up to for the rest of your days. The kiss swollen lips of your love, his violet eyes fixed on you with love and adoration. Tired but content. Wild hair tamed by gravity sprining back to life as it dries.
"G'Morning." Hitoshi whispers, and you can feel the shape of the words against your lips.
"G'Night." You smile, pressing your body tighter to his, desperate for this moment of closeness to endure but knowing it's reaching it's end.
He sighs, moving his face into the crook of your neck peppering it with wet kisses.
You groan and let your fingers rake along the back of his scalp despite yourself.
"We can't Hi, I gotta head to work."
His kisses continue finding their way up to the base of your jaw "You've had to work all week." he frowns, he knows this argument doesn't have a leg to stand on but he also knows you miss him as much as he misses you.
"So have you." You laugh, beginning the impossible task of extrcating yourself from his embrace.
When you're hovering over him, propped up on your hands and knees, his hands still have their hold on you. One gently tracing the small of your back and the other cupping your face, thumb stroking your cheek.
He never makes this easy.
Another kiss.
"I'm all yours when I get home tonight. Promise."
Another.
"Get some sleep Hitoshi, I'll worry about you all night if you don't."
Another and another.
"I'm serious."
A resigned sigh as his hand slides down and squeezes your ass before relinqushing it's grip on you. The other remains firmly in place. He kisses you again.
"It's hard when our schedules don't line up." He's frowning and now it's your turn to linger with yet another parting kiss.
Shinsou Hitoshi x GN reader - this is pure fluff, reader is a teacher and a punk and a bad (good) influence. extremely selfship coded don't look at me. no editing we die like men.
For the third day running he comes home to find you crumpled around your laptop in a posture that is surely only envyable among small crustaceans. He straightens his shoulders reflexively at the sight.
You've made a nest for yourself in the living room of your shared apartment, eschewing your office in favour of soft surfaces and a space to be a 'powerful wizard' free of judgement. Which is to say you’ve drapped a blanket around yourself like a protective cloak. It's the excired chriping of your cat as it curls itself around his legs that alerts you to Hitoshi's return. This rouses you from the trance like state you were in, consumed by your work just as Hitoshi so often is by his.
Tired eyes meet tired eyes across the dimly lit space, quiet in the way the city only ever is in the wee hours of the night. Simultaneously smiles crack across your faces. It never fails to make his heart soar when your whole face crinkles in delight at the sight of him. Rising from petting the small cat you call your heart Hitoshi moves to tuck himself behind you, resting his chin on your shoulder and wrapping his arms around your shrimp like mid-section. When he's settled against you the only sound in the room is the vigorous clacking of your laptop keys.
You work hard. You really care about your students and put your all into your work. You try your best to be compassionate and kind in a system that's often hard and unforgiving. It's something Hitoshi's always liked about you. It's something that's maybe rubbed off on him more than it should- not that it's a bad thing but a pro hero's duty isn't to argue with how fair a given rule is. Though you would argue that a pro hero's duty is to keep people safe, not protect the interests of capital, and therefore some rules, in fact, do more harm than good.
Hitoshi has been letting shoplifters slide since your second date.
You made a compelling argument.
He's interrupted from his reminiscing by your soft huff. He opens his sleepy eyes and looks at your laptop screen.
"You know I thought when I graduated finals week would be a stressor of the past but somehow it's worse now".
He hums in acknowledgement, he knows your rhythms well enough to know you aren't finished your thought yet.
"I hate grading. These kids put so much into their work and I have to quantify it with some meaningless number? And they're so stressed about getting a good number they aren't even focused on learning."
Another hum.
"Like when I get a bad assignment. Is it really bad? Or did they just not have the resources they needed to succeed. It feels bad failing them when probably they already feel bad enough that they couldn't dedicate their time to something they're proud of. The learning should be the outcome not this dogshit paper nonesense."
This was he knew, his turn to speak. Unsnaking an arm from around your midsection, Hitoshi rubbed the back of his head in thought. Truthfully he hadn't thought of it that way. Growing up he had always valued hard work. He didn't really respect his peers who'd had things handed to them. But then, even if he now found himself on equal footing with his hero colleagues, his starting position was so much further back from theirs. UA's admissions process put him at a serious disadvantage entirely because of the nature of his quirk. A lot of factors might put a student at a disadvantage when completing their work. Was it handing success to them when you simply chose to be gentle in a system that in many ways set them up to fail?
Where your speech was impassioned, Hitoshi's voice remained ever neutral, the depth of it rumbling against your back as he replied. "Well, it's finals now, there's no real way to course correct. I think you need to look at it as what is setting them up to succeed next year. If the paper's bad but you think they grasp the subject, why not let shop lifting slide?"
You snort a laugh and lean back into him.
"Good advice from my favourite shop lifting apologist."
"Mmm more like enabler at his point." You can't see it, but you can hear that charming toothy grin blooming as he laughs with you.
Hitoshi watches as you decisively fudge the numbers, passing the dogshit paper in question.
"Thanks Hi'."
"Mmm does his mean my powerful arch wizard is ready for bed." He yawns into your shoulder.
"If my favourite shop lifting enabler is asking then yes."
