The sound of footsteps shook the biker out of daydreaming. Gathering himself quickly, he flashed a smile at the new face he encountered. "Yo~" he greeted as his fingers glided over the screen of his phone.

Shippo sighed and stretched out his body.  A groan escaped the child's lips as he felt his bones pop back into place.  It had been a few weeks now since he had last gotten the chance to get away from training and he was so excited to get back to his mini family.  Inuyasha probably wouldn't care that he was back but he was sure Kagome was going to be really happy.

"Almost there!" He stated loudly, as he neared the well.  It had grown over some what after it closed.  Inuyasha did make a habit however of trying to keep the weeds and grass from climbing all over it.  It was something he tried to do secretly but Shippo knew it was him.

Smiling at the idea, the kitsune patted the well once before continuing on towards the village.  "It is so good to be back."

Gomen!

Soooo a couple things came up and I have to really get my work done.  I have drafts started for kagome-of-the-well and my other threads but I will not be able to really get on after I post this...  Forgive me please!  I love all of you and really wish I didn't have to do this!

Within Foreign Lands

Seeing as how she's basically dwelling within the 'comfort' of the feudal era now, Kagome came to the conclusion that she should better familiarize herself with the area. She would've actually preferred if she had her friends accompanying her as she did this, but all of them seemed to be otherwise occupied for the time being until further notice.

Sango and Kirara are off with Kohaku, having only said that they have business to take care of back at their village. Not wanting to pry to much into their personal affairs, she simply accepted that with the assumption that it's important for them to do. Miroku had gone with Hachi to go visit Mushin. Nothing especially important, simply checking in on him to be reassured that everything is alright. Inuyasha and Shippo have finally been getting along. Well, getting along may be a bit of a stretch. But they haven't been arguing as much. Somehow they ended up going off for what she can only describe as bonding, and although she knows they would join her she didn't want to disrupt anything since it won't be too long before they're back to constant bickering.

Thus bringing her here. Alone and deep in the woods. Well not necessarily alone, seeing as how she does have her arrow raised and directed towards a demonic aura. Kagome does remember sensing this one before, but couldn't quite place it just yet since it wasn't very familiar. She was prepared to stand her ground, despite how nervous she may be about who's lurking within the surrounding area. "W-Who... Who's there?" Kagome inquired in the hopes of releasing an assertive tone.

Kagome slowly approached the young fox with a sweet smile. As she stood in front of him, she glanced down and then gently picked Shippou up, before placing a soft kiss upon his nose. "Sorry about that, anons orders."

He was used to being picked up, small as he was, yet he still wasn’t used to affection as strange as that sounded - people still feared demons and not everyone considered him cute.

Still the kiss felt nice upon his nose, a light blush dusting his cheeks and reaching back to the tips of his ears. “..—I don’t mind.”

He wished she would do it again.

Smiling widely, Kagome was in an especially joyful mood. It having been quite some time since she last returned to her own time, she was anxious to return to her home, see her family and possibly her friends. It was sort of unusual for Inuyasha to allow her to go home for even a couple of days, but she chose not to question it out of fear that the rather kind act owuld be taken away within a matter of seconds.

Upon returning to her own time, she eagerly climbed up and out of the well. Wondering what awaited her once she got home, knowing that it's a weekend she wasn't sure who would be home at this time of the day, but hopefully at least someone would be there to welcome her. Kagome exited the shrine and immediately felt a strange and somewhat familiar presence. It was very faint and distant so the priestess didn't think too much of it, and headed towards her home.
