   Much like her personality now, I see her as a free spirit, even as a child. Adventurous, outgoing and very respectful of her elders. Kagome enjoyed helping out her mother and grandfather as much as she could--despite getting aggravated with the goofy stories her grandfather always told. It wasn’t until she was older than she started calling him ridiculous--as a child, she believed them all with everything within her. 

   As a child, Kagome was witty, smart, caring and, of course, a bit of a brat. She knew when to hold her tongue and learned right from wrong at a very, very young age.
