These Kahlua donut holes are a delightful treat with a hint of coffee liqueur and a rich ganache coating. Perfect for indulging yourself or sharing with friends!
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/4 cup milk. 1/4 cup Kahlua liqueur. 1 egg. 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted. 1 tsp vanilla extract. Vegetable oil for frying. 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1/4 cup heavy cream. 1 tbsp Kahlua liqueur. Powdered sugar for dusting.
Instructions: Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix the milk, egg, melted butter, Kahlua liqueur, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Blend thoroughly. Once a smooth batter forms, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir. In a deep pan or fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350F 175C. Small portions of the batter should be dropped into the hot oil using a spoon or tiny cookie scoop. Cook the donut holes in the oil for two to three minutes, or until they are cooked through and turn golden brown. After removing them with a slotted spoon, put them on a plate covered with paper towels to absorb extra oil. Put the chocolate chips and heavy cream in a bowl that is safe to microwave. Microwave the chocolate for 20 seconds at a time, stirring after every 20 to ensure it melts completely and becomes smooth. One tablespoon of Kahlua liqueur should be stirred into the ganache. Lean each donut hole over the Kahlua ganache and let the excess fall out. To allow the ganache to solidify, place the coated donut holes on a cooling rack. After the ganache solidifies, sprinkle powdered sugar over the donut holes. Enjoy your mouthwatering Kahlua Donut Holes with Ganache after serving them!
