I hate that I feel feeble. I hate that my body hates me. I hate that I can't have a normal life with a reliable amount of energy and strength. On my good days, I can lift and move a house. But on my bad days, I can't even lift a me. But I love that I have packmates who check up on me and tuck me in. And chase me down with my medications and pay attention to my diet. And would gleefully destroy anyone who posed a threat to their sickly Kaht. Without these kids, I would be so very screwed.

My boyfriend was single for 18 years and never had a girlfriend until we met. Our relationship is completely God-centred, and we knew from the start it was for the long run. Society conveys dating as a short term thing. Think long-term, and pray!

Good advice. Tori and I are blessed to have only dated each other. That alone has meant so much over the course of our marriage (4 years tomorrow!)

Just look at Seattle who raised it to $15. Many lost 401k, all vacations, and not to mention taxes on the folk sky-rocketed. A lot of people lost their benefits, and most aren't happy. Raising minimum wage is a delusion. You lose more than you gain.

Sad situation, but good to know. I hadn't heard any results from that yet.

What's your view on vaccines in relation to the bible? I can't quite remember what verse it was, but there's always that issue of the root word "pharmacy" and so on, counting as witchcraft. Not into arguing, just curious! Apologies if you've answered such question before. Just started following!

Just throwing this answer out there without much study or research. Here's my thoughts. 

I'm sure there are those that have mixed demonic forces in with healing remedies. Especially in the old testament where there was a prevalent belief that everything was spiritual. 

If we throw out vaccines because "pharmaceuticals are demonic," then we have to throw out all of medicine, and that's not consistent with the Christian faith. 

Ezekiel 47:12 And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.”

Proverbs 17:22 A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

1 Timothy 5:23 No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.

Matthew 9:12 But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.

Effectual medicine is a great thing and God often uses it as a conduit to heal people.

Man I have some of the best friends ever. They are cute and dumb and silly and rude and just the kind of people I want to hang out with forever. I hope this year is filled with only good things for them and that we can be big dumb douchebags together.
