Dear Santa stars Jack Black, Robert Timothy Smith, Keegan-Michael Key, Brianne Howey, Hayes MacArthur, Post Malone, P.J. Byrne, Jaden Carson Baker, and Kai Cech. The film is directed by Bobby Farrelly. The screenplay is written by Ricky Blitt and Peter Farrelly from a story they concieved with Dan Ewen.

when i was 9, i carried around my ivy American Girl doll everywhere. i was obsessed with ivy and jess because they shared my chinese & japanese heritage. i didn’t think there was anything cooler than when i got to be an AG model and saw my posters up at the Grove. kai thought it was pretty cool too. it turns out (for both of us) there was one more thing that’s even just a little bit cooler.😉 to continue representing strong AAPI female role models is such an honor and i’m so excited to work alongside my real life sister. as always, thank you to our awesome team!

Miya Cech is starring in two upcoming American Girl specials!
The young actress will portray the American Girl doll Corinne Tan in the specials, which will premiere on Cartoon Network, and HBO Max next day.
In the first 60-minute special, 13-year-old ski enthusiast Corinne Tan navigates her parents’ recent divorce while her 10-year-old sister, Gwynn, dad, mom, and stepdad Arne have adjusted to their new roles in this blended family. She discovers a new purpose when she challenges herself to train a rambunctious puppy named Flurry to become a search and rescue dog.
American Girl: Corinne Tan tells the inspirational story of a proud big sister as she comes to understand family, perseverance, and self-acceptance.
Also starring in the special is Miya‘s real life sister Kai as Corinne’s sister Gwynn and Michelle Krusiec as their mom Judy.
“Mattel Television is excited to partner with HBO Max and Cartoon Network to introduce our new American Girl special featuring 2022 Girl of the Year, Corinne Tan,” Fred Soulie, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mattel Television, shared in a statement. “Corinne is a strong role model, encouraging viewers to be their true, authentic selves. We are proud to bring her rich story to life and inspire television audiences of all ages.”

American Girl: Corinne Tan will premiere on Cartoon Network in December 2022, followed by being released on HBO Max the next day. The second special will air in 2023.
