You get so used to having Kaidan around with one character as her follower/lover/husband that it's weirdly jarring the way he speaks to you when you're playing as someone else with no intention of bringing him along for that journey.

Even that arguably platonic, "It's good to see you," sounds mildly come-hither and it's kind of amusing.

I wish there could’ve been an option to have a biological child with the Kaidan mod. Nothing crazy--just an added dialogue option once you have the kids talk, then once you’re ready, you’d select a dialogue option that indicates that, the screen fades to black, and then you’ve got a little half Akaviri kid running around.

Don’t get me wrong. Adoption’s great, but if your husband’s possibly the last of his kind, it makes since to go biological at least once. You could always adopt another kid later on.

My intrusive thoughts won, so I'm playing through the Kaidan mod--the older version I had--with a new character.

I'd forgotten he initially doesn't even know what race he is when you meet him. I feel like process of elimination would've been helpful given he knows he's not a Nord and is the size of about three Bretons, Dunmer, and Bosmer.

Olfina's "men will come to respect you/fear you" comment makes me smirk a little when he's my follower.

The fact that his sword belonged to his mother...
