Gigan, could you please tell us a bit about you ?

Gigan: Of course, that's my favourite subject to talk about! What ya wanna know?

Gigan: I guess to get the basics out first, I live in Seatopia with Megalon who is my partner, and apparently I'm now concidered their second god which is pretty neat. Life here is pretty chill, sometimes me and Megs go up to Pollution Island to hang out with Hedorah and their crew.

Under cut; christmas break, next year’s changes & schedule, general ramblings TL;DR: Closing askbox for now, slower updates coming in January

Kaijuden is taking a little christmas break, and closing it’s askbox. Posts have been very slow and haphazardly scattered and it’s simply due to the fact I find it very hard to work on something I’m not 100% motivated on. And currently another fandom has been sipping away at my motivation and energy, along with the end of the year.

That said, the blog isn’t going anywhere. But asks will be slower. I’m aiming for a once-a-week drawn post schedule, but I’m not going to put strict deadlines on myself because otherwise I’ll burn myself out. I’m looking at starting next year’s posts somewhere in January. Text answers will be more frequent, mainly if they are continuations from previous asks (so that you don’t need to wait weeks or months for dialogue to continue) or I have no idea what to draw for them.

I have had the thought of implementing a storyline, because I have certain events and headcanons I’d like to further explore. But I’m wondering how to go about it. If you have any suggestions, I’d be glad to hear them.

I will also be working on a masterdoc, which adresses timelines and goes over the basics of each kaiju. I hope this could save me some headache of going over the same asks over and over.
