Favorite thing about them: This was surprisingly hard to pin point since he’s been a fave for nearly a decade. Probably that he’s obviously neurodivergent and I found myself relating to him when I was younger.

Least favorite thing about them: His obsession with dissecting Zim. That’s a big yikes for me. 

Favorite line: A tie between the entire Florpus opening and “ThINGs hE dO”

brOTP: Him and Zim! They’d be like really really competitive friends that mock each other all the time. 

OTP: It’s kinda sappy but Dib and Gretchen (GaDr). It’s my oldest ship and it stuck with me. I’m super down with Dib/Keef (KaDr) and Dib/Louie too though!

nOTP: I think this one’s obvious... Basically any inc//est or significant age gap

Random headcanon: Oh lord so many. Uh, Dib is the youngest member ever to be recruited into the Swollen Eyeball Network when he was 9. He got his agent name from being the only person to have a close encounter with the real Mothman (long story). Agent Tuna was his mentor/recruiter and was like an older sister to him during that period.

unpopular opinion: He is NOT a FLAT EARTHER. Yes, he has conspiracies, but he understands basic science.

LietPol = Fake dating. Because Liet is heartbroken that the girl he likes is dating someone else, he accepts the proposition of his friend Feliks to pretend to date. Feliks says that people become 234% hotter when they are taken, so she might notice him then. Also that would give them points on the social scale and also give them an excuse to share these complicated fruit slushies that are meant for couples but look so good. Except that... why does it feel so right and natural? 

EstLat = Slow burn. Since neither of them is the center of attention often and also their relationship advances so slowly, people don’t even notice the evolution in it. Until one day they friends receive wedding invitations in the mail and they are like “what??” so they start trying to decipher how and when must that have happened. 

HongIce = Enemies to Lovers. A post-apocalyptic world. What remains of humanity is controlled by cybernetic nerds. They all defend their territory viciously, and fight to conquer more or to protect what’s theirs. It’s engraved in them, they feel nothing. Except when Hong-Kong and Iceland fight for the first time, for the first time in forever, there will be a flicker of something... is it hate? pride? ambition? attraction? Who knows. They will have to learn to be human again, and they will have to learn to work together against bigger threats too. Something that humanity had forgotten how to do.

Hello! I saw that last ask an the anon mentioned recent events in the yo/i fandom. What where the events? I must have missed them.

Someone in the fandom (who is ant1-0tayur1 and just a very toxic person in general) made death threats against Kub0, one of the staff members of y0i. They made a post threatening to “shoot her” and “take her out.” I think Kub0 once called herself a fujoshi, and that’s worthy of death threats apparently!

And then they claimed it was just a “joke/hyperbole” when they got backlash for it and they are not apologetic in the slightest.
