Religion is a bit of an odd thing in regards to Beerus, he has vague memories of having some sort of religion as a child that was dropped as soon as he began training. At times he questioned what religions and Gods even were with himself as a God. There are a few societies among the universes that worship Gods of Destruction, but Beerus isn’t too keen on visiting them, he finds the idea of being worshiped an odd thing.

Now that doesn’t mean he won’t demand certain things just because he is a God, but he tends to pick and choose when to remind others of his Godhood. Any time he does remind others of his Godhood it’s almost always to gain respect, be it deserved or by force. 

But to make a long headcannon short, Beerus hates the idea of having blind followers, and is indifferent of other religions.

He had known it from the moment they had fused, or rather, from the moment that their connection (which had proven so strained, so tenuous) had been severed. Messy and painful, they both came from the ordeal with acid on their tongues, spat at each other. Had Zamasu always sounded so foolish? It was a question he didn’t even need to answer, for this wasn’t the first time that such thoughts had crossed his mind. That somewhere along the way, their paths had diverged, rendering their goals incompatible. No wonder their fusion had been such a disgusting thing, built upon the rotting framework of a relationship they no longer had.

It was now something as clear to him as the sight of the surrounding debris or the smell of smoke in the air. His perception of things had shifted, and with that, Black expected that the world had changed along with it. While Zamasu contended with the likes of Goku, he made his way towards the fringe of spectators who watched him with wary eyes. Black came to a halt just yards away, close enough to see Trunks itching to grab his sword. His gaze turned quickly from the boy, however, settling instead on one he had very few direct exchanges with. Black said nothing at first, only pointing at the small Kai quite abruptly. The gesture was forceful, so much so that one might have expected a blast of ki to come shooting out from his fingertip. Yet nothing issued forth but the grave tone of Black’s voice.

     “You. I’d like to have a word, now.”

There's a quirk to Whis' lips that hadn't been there before; he regards Shin in the same privately amused way one might linger on an inside joke (a joke, he thinks to himself, that the god before him is woefully missing out on, and perhaps that's a little more distinctive of his usual dynamics in his relationships than he'd like to admit). He observes what he thinks is some amount of abashed emotion in Shin's actions-- the drawn circle on his exposed thigh, the hesitation to act more boldly, though he can feel the verge of it in Shin’s grasp.

In response, Whis gives what likely sounds like a prematurely contented sigh, tilting his head.

"Do you think I look like the type to prefer that?" There's no accusation or offense in his words. They're spoken in a nonchalant, lightly curious manner, Whis' sense of what situations deserve a certain measure of gravity as capricious as ever.
