when i was pretty young, maybe around six or seven, i thought that the way pregnancy worked was that the woman got pregnant as she walked down the aisle at her wedding

so i was still young when i learned same-sex marriage was a thing, specifically it was a female couple that got married (there was an article about it and my mum mentioned it)

and so i figured that’s how twins were made
