Capital is finally out, it’s kinda a long story about the EP but i’ll try to make it short... it was made between 2017/2018 honestly i never had any intentions to make an EP per se, it was just a bunch of songs and projects that i had around and decided to make something with them, the idea of an album came to my mind for some time because i had like 15 song ideas that i could work on but some of them never really make the cut because they didn’t fit the mood i was looking for, after some work and testing the number was reduced to 10 and then to 5, which are the ones that made it on the final release, the thing that they have in common for me is the mood, they are kinda nostalgic/sad or at least that’s the criteria that i used to make the final selection, since we are mostly 24/7 at home right now it’s really easy to get trapped by nostalgia about past times... and that’s what this EP represents to me, missing places, people, dealing with isolation and everything in between.

So i guess good things take some time... but this took a shitload of time... during the quarantine time i finally finished Capital EP and it’s being distributed to the digital platforms right now, i’ve been writing about it and leaving some demos on previous posts, honestly before that (the EP was made between 2017/2018) i’ve never had the intention of publishing it honestly, but i will expand on that later when it gets public in a couple of days... meanwhile i’ll be working on some promo material even if i don’t plan to do much promo on it, then i’ll move on what i care the most now, my techno projects that i’ve been working on for a year now, need to finish them quickly.

Also thanks to Mattness for letting me abuse your monitors for a while.

This picture is the only one I have from last Saturday, I know we look terrible but Mattness and I played a really crazy DJ set on the after-party, we had lots of fun that's for sure, people enjoyed a lot our house and techno so that makes me happy. :)

I hope someone sends me a better picture LOL.

Arturia’s Jup-8V sounds f*cking huge! it’s my favorite Arturia synth so far, easy to use and sounds great every time, arpeggios, leads, bass, pads, weird fx? this thing got you covered! i wish i had the real thing but… good luck finding a working one and the 14.000$ it costs LOL, this is part of a new song i’m working on but i decided to extract this bit just to show the power of the Jup-8V, i really recommend some headphones or good speakers, it really sounds amazing boy!
