day 7: w|w ship

kaitris (kaitlyn and iris)

iris and kaitlyn have both endured some young heartbreak. iris never tried to take what happened with cyrus personally, but she couldn’t help but fear if she would ever find someone so perfect for her again in this lifetime. kaitlyn chased after buffy, a girl who she knew didn’t like her in that way; and yet she tried to learn basketball for her. 

kaitlyn and iris eventually found each other when they got paired as partners in high school photography class. it was then that they discovered someone who understood them like no other. they both allowed themselves to put their past experiences behind them and start something new. they met at this time for a reason, and together they will take on the world unapologetically.

-both have a knack for photography; they share a photography account on instagram where they post their various adventures

-iris is the ‘it’ theater girl and kaitlin is the best stage manager; iris was belle in the high school’s production of beauty and the beast, so naturally kaitlin got her a giant bouquet of yellow roses 

-iris and cyrus eventually became best friends; with their shared love of most things including theater, they confide in each other about everything. plus they love to disprove the “you turned her/him gay” cliché because they both ended up gay so HA

-kaitlin and marty ended up being in a lot of classes together in high school, and getting to know how great of a person marty is made kaitlin feel better about what happened with buffy

-tyrus and kaitris double dates? where tj likes to roast kaitlin on her failed attempt at basketball and iris becomes protective girlfriend™

-both girl’s moms end up becoming best friends through them; and while it’s cute for a little, it can getting annoying when iris’s mom is always trying to go over kaitlin’s house WITH iris 

-iris works at a kids theater playhouse and sometimes kaitlin likes to come visit and watch; now there’s a photo album in her phone titled “spotted”

-people joke about how they're the couple no one saw coming but now that they’re together no one can imagine them apart
