Exactly what you just said, reference and daily practice! I like to take references from photography, sculptures, anatomy’s book and I practice with videos (dance videos or movies...)I can only recommend to choose reference according to what you like!

quick question, how did you buy the final p3 manga volumes? I can't seem to find them anywhere to buy (or at least easy to buy because japanese shipping and issues and such etc blah blah)

CD Japan has them. They ship internationally, and it got here pretty fast.
