You know what’s the best thing ever? It’s when you are having mild anxiety from meeting your dad but being unable to even go near him, so you ask if any of your friends could video call you so you can tackle the anxiety and go buy groceries (if I had gone with anxiety, the tension in the store would’ve made it exponentially worse), and one does, a mother of two just before their bedtime hassle begins. And the baby is there too, and he’s very interested in the new person on the screen (I wasn’t behind the phone either, he checked) AND then I showed him, my stuffed dog Sulo, and he FELL IN LOVE SO HARD! There was immediate sounds of disapproval the second Sulo left the screen, and I was later told (when I sent him a proper picture of Sulo) that he had screamed out of joy while looking the screenshot of our video call with his dad. My guardian doggo has a fan <3
