Styria, the big boss archdemon lady who technically holds authority over all my other demon characters. That said, she's a fairly do-whatever-you-want kind of authority, so long as she gets her dues. This sometimes leads to certain demons getting a tad too ambitious and thinking they can disrupt Styria's rule--it never lasts long though, because Styria's wrath is swift and brutal, yet surprisingly calm.

Unlike the other demons, Styria is pretty explicitly a fallen angel who's far older than most of the others. She's actually the sister of the seraphim Lenore (who you can also find in my gallery), though Styria fell from her angel status long ago, and they've never been on any sort of good terms ever since. Whereas Lenore spent thousands of years to gradually rise from angel to seraphim, Styria has spent the same amount of time growing her power among demons and becoming a ruling underworld figure.

Styria's human persona is the warden of a maximum security prison--on the surface, it holds dangerous human criminals, but it also serves to hold special prisoners such as captured angels or certain unruly demons who require some "re-conditioning."

Olympia, a nephilim who has spent her life in the most secure labs of the Athena Research Center, undergoing countless experiments that have led to a massively powerful but barely controllable monster form.

She's grown up under the direct supervision of the ARC's lead scientist, Leander (a demon who's artwork is also in my gallery), so her perception and knowledge of the world around has been carefully controlled. As a result, Olympia is loyal but naïve, encouraged to simply be Leander's secret weapon who crushes whoever opposes her. Aside from Leander, who Olympia almost treats like a mother, the closest other person Olympia has to a friend is the cambion Ithaca, another subject of Leander's experiments.

Despite Olympia's power, she's still highly unstable, so she currently resides in the ARC and is kept one of Leander's closely guarded secret projects.

Leander, the last demon lady to round out the crew. She's a mad scientist who revels in conducting all sorts of experiments, often on other demons.

Leander serves as the head of an off-shore military science facility just outside the city of Kallion. Unlike the main six archdemons, Leander doesn't rule any aspect of the city as her territory, though they all rely on her for various purposes. The most common purpose is to ship off underling demons to her facility, where she'll less-than-ethically apply all sorts of augmentations to get them to better serve their masters' purposes. In special cases, Leander will also send a kill squad of her powerful personal subjects to help defend one of the archdemons' territory or take out a larger threat.

Among Leander's personal subjects, her crowning achievement is Ithaca, a half-human half-demon soldier Leander has used as her favorite lab rat for years. Ithaca won't thank her for it, but Leander's experiments are the reason she has become a powerhouse that more than rivals any full-blood demon.

Leander herself is not the most fearsome fighter, despite her monstrous demon form. But she does have powerful technokinesis that make her a great threat when she has her equipment around. Any part of her entire military science facility can be turned into a dangerous extension of her body at a whim.

Day 6, an update to one of my angel ladies, Minerva. And yeah I'm counting this toward my not-so-daily October doodles.

Anyway, Minerva's the first angel lady I made, so she was overdue for a makeover (that turned out extra MILF-y). She's got a very specific spot in the timeline for my Kallion City angel and demon stuff, being the mother of the main protagonist, Ophana, buuut also long dead by the time Ophana's a young adult. That said, none of my angel or demon ladies age with any sorta realistic human logic--they kinda just age to their prime and then stay there. That's basically my handwave reason why everyone else was around way prior to Ophana being in the picture, despite looking the same age-wise. Minerva was one of two angels sent to Kallion City to investigate the demons who had taken root there. She and her fellow angel Ceres discovered the six archdemons who ruled different aspects of the city and manipulated the human population. Partway through the mission, however, Minerva would find herself cornered by the six of them and slain, but not before leaving behind a daughter named Ophana--an extremely rare baby from the fact that she was a nephilim from her angel mother, Minerva, and a demon father, a love Minerva had behind closed doors for a long time. After Minerva's death, her partner Ceres would keep her head low, taking small victories where she could while looking for a way to take out the archdemons one by one, all while at the same time negotiating with her archangel higher-ups (like Juno) to not obliterate the whole city. 19 years later though, a grown-up Ophana would help turn the tide on Ceres's precarious situation.

Redrew one of the monster forms for my nephilim girl Ophana, specifically her child self's monster form.

Her monster form changes from her childhood to adulthood. There's a strong "parent" theme to her monster form, though the parent elements get less dominant as Ophana grows up.

As a child, Ophana doesn't actually have control of her monstrous nephilim form, and only transforms involuntarily and when under great stress or fear. The parent elements on her childhood nephilim form are more autonomous and dominant--they control Ophana's body while Ophana herself is actually unconscious. As a result, Ophana's childhood nephilim form is much more bestial and monstrous, running almost entirely on instinct.

As an adult, Ophana is more aware of her power as a nephilim, and has much more control over her transformation. As a result, her nephilim form's parent elements are smaller and serve more as proper limbs for Ophana herself, who is now self-aware in this form.

Back to my Kallion City setting with its angel and demon ladies, this time with Juno, a new character to turn my angel duo into a trio (...and then back to a duo because Minerva's super duper dead). I also included my six main demons just to have them together.

Juno was intended to have a much more strict and authoritative vibe compared to Ceres's unruly attitude and Minerva's gentle demeanor. Fitting to her personality, she's also a leader figure, and technically an archangel who outranks Ceres and Minerva.

However, just because Juno is an angel does not mean she is necessarily good in the same way the other two angels are. Really, Ceres and Minerva were the only two angels put on the long term mission to rout the demons from Kallion. After Minerva was killed, however, the archangel Juno was sent to the city with the intent to take over the mission. And Juno doesn't share the same sympathy for humans as Ceres and Minerva.

Juno is more willing to resort to severe nuclear options to eliminate the archdemons, especially after seeing just how deep their grip on the city is. As a result, she butts head with Ceres often, seeing her as insolent and defiant. For now though, Juno relents to letting Ceres do things her way, but her patience is getting more and more limited. If she sees any sign of Ceres's methods failing, she's perfectly willing to annihilate the city of Kallion if it means removing the archdemons before their threat grows too large.
