Intro A Phelion who founded the Periapsis organization and the Academy. Little if anything is known of their life before, as they have never been seen out of their Phelion form since coming into the public eye. However, they are known to be fair and kind, and is generally well-trusted by other Phelions and the world despite their reticence of their past.
About Kaluin is a well-meaning individual, and does what they can to be empathetic and understanding to those under their purview. At the same time, they are very confident, perhaps overly so, but that assuredness does reflect true ability and skill. Some speculate that they have something of a god complex, though any who ask them this will only get a laugh in response.
They have disclosed few if any details of who they were as a human. No one knows what their gender, age, or birthday is, and they are content with the mystery. They have little care for pronoun preferences either - their opinion is that "as long as you can tell who you're talking about, I don't mind what you use." For instance, if they are in a group of other "thems," they certainly wouldn't mind being called "he" or "she" or even something else.
They have a strong sense of discipline, duty, and responsibility, but also likes to enjoy their time and make sure others are as well. They may strike up conversations with other members of Periapsis, mostly those who stay at the Academy since they spend most of their time there.
History In 2032, Kaluin watched the Phelion meteor fall from the sky. They were one of the first to change, one of the first to feel the connection to something greater. They attuned to it, to the fragments within themselves, and in 2045, they Shifted and became Kaluin.
They gathered the friends they'd made, of those similar to themself, and called forward all other Phelions to reach for space and uncover the secrets behind their existence. And so they ascended to the stars, building the Academy with the help of many other Phelions and their abilities.
They organized Phelions into the Periapsis organization, and they made progress in understanding themselves and beginning the push into space. And then, in 2055, the Aphels first attacked. Kaluin had a feeling that they were coming, but they were still taken by surprise upon seeing them. Those at the Academy were luckily left unscathed, though there were casualties on Earth. So Kaluin redoubled their efforts to unite Phelions at the Academy, and together they pushed forward in this new state of existence.
