Kaluz, Ft Lauderdale and Wellington. Wow. What a gorgeous place. Both inside and out it is of a high end decor. But I agree with the Sun Sentinel review. Kaluz is just missing a personality. Bartenders and greeters don’t smile at the Ft Lauderdale location. It has a sterile feel. But it is gorgeous! On a weekday night the outside bar was full at 5 pm but the inside bar had a few open seats. Bartenders were nice but did not make us feel welcome. Service was fast and professional. Three prime rib sliders $8 were quality meat and tasty. Wine by the glass is half price. A had a William Hill Cabernet $8. The water views and sunsets are beautiful. I want to go back to try the chicken drum lollipops. They looked delicious.
I recently ate in the new Wellington location. It is gorgeous! (minus the water views of Ft Lauderdale) But it does have a water feature inside and the same quality food. And those prime rib slides and chicken lollipops at happy hour. Yes please! Friendly staff at this location
