Beloved, I come humbly before you asking for 5 headcanons/events from The Kaleb/Daenys AU

But of course my dear friend I’ve missed talking about our darlings so now let’s remedy that!

Kaleb pretty instantly fell for Daenys, and Rhaenyra was more than happy to wingwoman him. It took him a bit to act on his feelings because to him he’s just That Emo Guy from The North™️ and Daenys is a princess! She’s obviously too good for him! But eventually Rhaenyra persuades him to tell her how he feels and for a while everything seems to work out.

But then when they get older and things start to get real, Kaleb decides to leave King’s Landing and go home because 1) his dad is sick and 2) he’s having a crisis bc how can That Emo Guy from The North compete with hot super noble dudes?

Kaleb pretty quickly regrets returning North, realizing that he would rather take a chance with Daenys than loose her forever, and he ends up coming back to her during the masquerade ball.

Following Kaleb’s plan at the ball, he and Daenys secretly get married before telling Viserys. He’s mad about it for like .5 seconds before realizing that Daenys is happy and Kaleb is a good son-in-law, so he’s chill about it. Most of the time.

They have lots of beautiful daughters, and Kaleb is such a girl dad. And a wife guy. He makes sure that they’re all treated like the princesses that they are. You thought he was obnoxious about Therese and Tristan, wait until you see him with his daughters.
