Thoughts on Bushidrill/Okamaitachi (what's the bennifer name for them?)
(also note that I’m using she/her for Okamaitachi but pretty much all gender headcanons are valid)
Bushidrill has been in love with Kama since the day they met, and pissed off about it for the same amount of time
He thought she was frivolous and silly and lacked focus, then he went home and stared at the wall for a while, swore, and started drinking.
he’d given up on relationships when he decided to devote his life to The Sword (or drill, as the case may be). But if he’d ever pictured himself falling in love it would have been very traditional wife material. Modestly hot, kind and supportive, hobbies include cooking and cleaning.
Kama is very hot, not exactly kind and not supportive unless you count yelling “tank up, slut!” whenever he slips in training, hobbies include hair treatments and singing in the onsen.
by the time he came to terms with his feelings, Bushidrill had realized Kama also had a type. Pretty and bad. He’s definitely not pretty, and while he might be a grouch Bushi isn’t what you’d call a “bad boy.”
He lost before he even knew there was a contest.
So he pushes it down, and tries not to think about it, and if he snaps at Kama more often than he should he does at least usually try to make up for it later. Usually.
And then there’s Okamaitachi’s side...
She’s fond of Bushi. She’d even say she loves him. But he’s so damn stupid sometimes that she’s as likely to strangle him as kiss him.
luckily, unlike Bushidrill, she actually can stop thinking about things if they bother her. One of the benefits of having more than one hobby in life. A new hair treatment or indulging in idol magazines always chases the blues away.
someday that big dumb man may tank up enough to confess to her. Only then will it actually be worthwhile to wonder if they’ll work as a couple. Until then... at least he’s cute when he blushes.

Y'all I just found out that Bushi is 5'5, Iaian is 5' 10 and Kama is 5'11. BUSHI IS SO SMALL, it's adorable how she is taller than them both , I love it! No wonder he's so intimidated💖.
