Last year, arachnologists Alireza Zamani and Yuri M. Marusik named a new species of spitting spiders from southern Iran Scytodes kumonga. In Godzilla Singular Point, Kumonga's scientific name is Kumonga scytodes.
The official site has also clarified that the monsters who appear alongside Kumonga share the same genus.

Interesingly, Singular Point has 4 variations of Kumongas: The normal one, Kamanga (The one with Gigan-like claws), Hanega (The one with wings) and one that has the giant claws and wings, but this one is not listed in the website. Also Jet Jaguar is an absolute badass in every shot.

Everyone keeps saying the kamanga(?) have Megalon’s horn, but the more accurate to say they have a structure similar to the underground god’s horns attatched to their abodmen

Honestly, I got a real ganimes vibe from these things. People have compared them to coconut crabs in shape
Which is funny as Toho’s stuff on biology of Megalon nonsensically claims he is descended from ocean creatures rather than insects.

The Durability Kaiju
These Kumongas are wayyy better than the classic one. The Megalon-like jaw is my favorite part of it's desing, the way it moves smoothly and the white stuff coming out of it, absolutely awesome (and creepy)! In case you are confused, the Hedorah looking blue thing is actually just the Kumongas without their exoesqueleton, this makes them way harder to kill.

The truth is out there...
Gonna admit, Hananga and Kamanga work perfectly for my idea of Kamacuras being a brood parasite [ala mantisflies]: they could be redone as being relatives even more extreme.
They could be brood parasites that mimic the shape and smell of Kumonga’s young before reaching their adult stages.
