In addition to his business ventures, Kamboj has been actively involved in politics. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2013 and served as the President of the Mumbai Youth Wing. Kamboj's journey from a small-town boy in Varanasi to the president of the Indian Bullion and Jewellery Association highlights his exceptional business acumen. His early exposure to the jewellery trade in Varanasi, under his father's guidance, laid the foundation for his career. After completing his education in Mumbai, he founded the KBJ Group, which has since become a leading name in India's real estate development sector​​.
