kameraz is one of the most well-known photography equipment suppliers/resellers, and is based in rosebank, jozi. the 'super sunday' consists of equipment on sale, a photographic fleamarket (an ideal chance to score some analogue gear), and a 'photo buy' - photographic images on sale from photographers (a great opportunity to network with other photog students and well-known photographers).
there will also be a 'photo talkshop', as explained by bob cnoops on their website:
the aim of the talkshop is to enable aspiring photographers and keen amateurs to ask questions regarding anything about photography and a panel of photographers will answer the best they can to the questions. these questions can be divergent as asking for a 'crit' on a particular photograph that has been brought to talkshop, to technical, visual, and ethical issues. anybody interested in photography is welcome to attend. the panel of photographers will be drawn from a group of hopefully 25 working photographers to ensure a wide range of areas of expertise.
