How to see mature content!!

Hello everyone, given what has been happening to me ( @kamitv ) and my fellow writers ( @tonycries & @madamechrissy ) on here lately, I've decided to come on here (my unflagged account, lol) and make a simple tutorial on how to see mature content on your account/dashboard, wtv.

If you are receiving the following message when looking for your favorite writer's blog, works, etc;

The following is what you'll need to do to fix that.

First you need to go to tumblr's website, I'm unsure why but the option simply does not appear anywhere on the app and you must go through the web for this. (This tutorial is given from the perspective of visiting tumblr.com via mobile device) From there on it's pretty simple.

Once here, you'll need to click on the little hamburger up in your top left corner;

Then the following drop down menu will appear and you need to go to your settings! Under settings, click account.

Once there, you’ll simply need to scroll down until you find “Content Labels”. If you’re facing this issue, it will likely have “Show mature content” as off. Turn it on, along with “Blur mature content” and everything should return to normal for you on both the website and the app.

P.S. IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS REGISTERED UNDER THE AGE OF 18, THIS WILL (obviously) NOT WORK!!! & to my knowledge, tumblr doesn’t allow you to change your bday without reaching out to them, etc.

hi guys, as much as it pains me to say this, i think im just gonna… take an indefinite break from this account.

i quite literally cannot take the constant uphill battles of content labels and all that bullshit because i already struggled like hell for the ENTIRETY of November and here were are December 3rd and they’ve added the following to every. single. one. of my fics that have been posted from October 23rd to now;

it’s even been RE-ADDED to previous posts that i’ve had in “content label review” so from here on i hardly know what to do. even some of my DRAFTS have this label on it & it cannot be removed as i’ve recently found out, no mater how many times i replace the images orrr anything so, i (unfortunately) quit! if you’re confused as to why this is even an issue for me, i’ve already summed it up decently here.

though, in the (unlikely) event that i find a solution for this, you can pretend this post never existed!!

idk if it’s ai’s doing orrr another case of someone reporting me but either way, i appreciate and honestly adore all 18k of you i’ve managed to gather here & thank you for everything you guys have given to me thus far. if you’re still interested in my writing (albeit more plot-based rather than smut-based, kinda) you can find me on @kamiflix.

helloooo readers of mine, i’m deciding to discontinue TSS. simply put, i was writing the next chapter and looking over the plot i have laid out for the remainder of the fic aaand… it just feels like a rework of TFL, lol. don’t get me wrong, what i had planned is very different, but to me—the author—it still just feels too similar (which is ofc on me but still). perhaps it’s because it’s still a college au with multiple love interest… or because it has a similar theme… idk! either way, i just wanted to make this announcement for y’all.

with that being said, i will be completing MLN soon as only 2 more chapters remain, and i will be taking either SFB or CoS off of hiatus once i hit my next milestone!! 🙂‍↕️ along with some new long fics to come at some point!! lastly, i’ll be remaking the taglist for the both of those fics since it’s been like over a year. (and i think im gonna repost them entirely, then start updating it from there — i still have the chapters up for it to be read as of now but it will be deleted & then reposted soon!!)

in the meantime, i’ll be working on finishing a mix of some older requests for jjk & some newer ones for atla <3
