❀——; five yen housekeeper || Aine & Yato
{ ღ } 'So this should be cooked for 10 minutes...'
The florist quietly sighed and tore open box of macaroni and cheese, pouring it into the microwaveable bowl. Putting it into the microwave, he pressed the buttons and started up the kitchen appliance.
After he had done that, he quietly moved back to his empty living room and let out a breath, slumping himself onto the couch.
It was the weekend where Aine was on his day off. Quiet and secluded in his apartment to himself, the day dragged on slowly to him; empty with no meaning. He curled up into a ball and pulled up a blanket over himself, resting his head against his knees.
He probably made the worst choice to live by himself; it felt depressing and lonely like this. He had initially thought being in solitude would help him think clearer over his life; but he was wrong. It wasn't making him feel any better or think clearly; in fact, the bluenet felt like he was falling into despair again.
How could he possibly take care of himself and his own mental health? Working was one thing; but what else was he going to do with his life?
There was no purpose.
Almost closing his eyes to mull over his thoughts more, they quickly scattered away when a burning smell from the kitchen came to his nose. The bluenet jolted his head up immediately, suddenly remembering he was still cooking macaroni.
'Oh no!'
The mute florist quickly ran into the kitchen to yank open the microwave door, only for black smoke to launch into his face.
