DNF: KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World chapter 12
Yukito is the son of a minor cult leader, a position he finds deeply embarrassing and disdainful. During a ceremony, his last wish before he's sacrificed is to be moved to a world without gods or religion, and he awakens in a new world without any such things. But monsters constantly attack the village, the empire doesn't need religion to control the masses, and gods might not be as fictional as Yukito believed...
I read the manga for this one, but I put it on the list because the anime had a very bizarre sense of humor and utilized "so bad it's good" animation to tell its story. I was disappointed to learn the manga doesn't share this sense of humor, and while this story isn't your bog standard isekai power fantasy, it's not too far off.
Some folks may be enticed to read this for the central conceit, which is that the shounen power system is run on followers, so building cults is the way you get stronger. This can be off-putting to many people, but while I like the idea I found the execution lacking.
I also felt like the main characters were mostly just anime tropes. You've got the jaded protagonist, lecherous male friend, childhood friend with big breasts and someone who loves their sister too much. And from what I read regarding the childlike deity Yukito attaches himself to, in addition to a future character named Gaia, I'm just not interested in seeing where the manga goes.
