Chidi and Ollie entered their house, finding their family in the dining-room.

Heidi: ah, you are finally back!

Chidi: hi mom, hi dad. Did our little guy behave today?

Heidi: of course he did! And we had so much fun, right Jameel? Didn't you have fun with grandma and grandpa?

Jameel: 😃

Kamir: Chidi... what happened to your face?

Ollie: oh, you don't want to know

Heidi: love, we agreed on not asking questions

Kamir: you are right, baby, you are right...

Heidi: so, Chidi, Ollie and you are friends or /friends/?

Chidi: mom!

Heidi: I'm just asking!

Ollie: Chidi is just taking me in for a while, nothing else

Heidi: oh, dang it... that's a pity

Kamir: Heidi, babe, stop

Heidi listened, but the stare she directed to Chidi said enough.

That stare was mom-son communication that meant "I like this boy and I know you do too"

While Ollie was living his best fanboy moment, Chidi greeted his family (including his poor younger brother Charu aka birthday boy).

Thankfully, Charu was a really chill guy and didn't mind to be the target of his brother's pranks.

After all, Chidi also brought a real and normal present for him.

Happy birthday, not-so-little guy!

(Charu will be one of the main characters of the next spin-off, so stay tuned!)

The next day...

Chidi: welcome to my parents' house. Please don't run away after this, hehe

The Legacy-Watsons greeted tbe newcomers.

Heidi: you are here!

Ollie: OMW!? KAMIR WATSON! I'M SO HONORED, I LOVE HAZEL & THE NUTS!

To have some context for this spin-off, let's start Chidi Sai's story with a small introduction:

Chidi Sai Legacy-Watson and Charu Legacy-Watson are part of the Legacy Legacy generation 9, Cirilla's cousins, and the sons of Heidi Legacy-Carter and Kamir Watson.

Heidi Legacy-Carter is the adoptive daughter of Gadi Legacy, the 7th gen co-heir, and agent Henri Carter, so she is Hazz' (our 8th gen heir) cousin and the youngest gen 8 spare.

Kamir Watson is one of Maira Watson's (aka the little girl from the Cottage Living pack) sons and Hazel's best friend and bandmate.

Heidi and him are high school sweethearts and have been together forever.

Émile Legacy-Nereo is one of the gen 5 spares, Estela's younger brother (alongside with his twin Elmer) and son of Destan Legacy (the gen 4 heir) and Acheloo Nereo. He is also the only human in that family (the others are mermaids).

He is evil and only loves his cats, he tried to engage in woohoo activities once with the result of an accidental baby called Fatality and now lives his best asexual life in Sulani with his brother and sister-in law while being the villain agency boss.

(Chidi Sai grew up with the evil trait so he ended working for Émile at the agency)

And, finally, Eva Luna Villareal is a descendant of Max Villareal and she is Poppy Valentine's (Hazz' bandmate and wife, real name Francesca Amapola Villareal) mother.

There was a lot of drama in gen 8 about this so this is a story for another day but one day Chidi Sai came back from work with a notif about her being his workplace rival so I had to include a little scene with her in the story.

With this said and done, we can finally start the proper story!
