Toyokumono-no-kami ~The god who deified the earth, full of life and fertility
The second of the seven generations of the gods period (Kamiyonanayo), after Kaminotokotachi-no-Kami, following the five gods of the Kotoamatsukami. Of the seven generations of the gods period (Kamiyonanayo), only the first two, Kuninotokotachi-no-Kami. and this one, were single gods without spouses, and like Kotoamazatsu, they went into hiding. In the Kojiki (Records of Ancient Matters), the creation of heaven and earth, which had been floating around in a state of perpetual stability, is deified and called Ame-notokotachi-no-kami or Kaminotokotachi-no-Kami. This deity appears following the appearance of Kaminotokotachi-no-Kami, the 'foundation of the country', and is the deification of the life-filled and fertile state of the country (land).

豊雲野神(とよくもののかみ)
~生命に満ちた豊穣な大地を神格化した神
別天津神(ことあまつかみ)五柱に続く神世七代(かみのよななよ)の神々のなかで、国之常立神(くにのとこたちのかみ)に次いで2番目に登場する神。
神世七代(かみのよななよ)の神々のなかで は、最初の二代にあたる国之常立神(くにのとこたちのかみ)とこの神の二神だけが配偶者のいない独神で、別天津神(ことあまつかみ)同様身を隠した。
古事記では、天地開闢(てんちかいびゃく)後も流動浮遊していた天地が永久に安定した状態に至ったことを神格化して天之御中主神(あめのみなかぬしのかみ)、国之常立神(くにのとこたちのかみ)と呼ぶ。
この豊雲野神(とよくもののかみ)は、その「国の礎」である国之常立神(くにのとこたちのかみ)の登場を受けて現れる神であり、そのような国(大地)の生命に満ちた豊穣な状態を神格化したものである。
