I Care; [...] because of people like you who shrug this kind of thing off. It's taken years for him to be held accountable for his actions simply because not enough people cared and he was louder than we were. We have a responsibility to bring his bullshit up to a public level of awareness, not only to hold him accountable but to spread that awareness and prevent him from doing this to anyone else.
This is Voidburger. I like Voidburger. She did some really great Let's Plays, my favorite being her Let's Plays for Silent Hill: Origins and Silent Hill. She supports Zoe Quinn and stands against Gamergate.
This is kamoc. He did an amazing, comprehensive Silent Hill: Homecoming LP. Voidburger and him seem to be good friends, and she even did some guest commentary on a few episodes of his Homecoming LP. Voidburger has also been part of kamoc's numerous "YouTube Reacts" videos. They've done numerous other projects with each other. Obviously, he demonstrates a similar attitude towards Gamergate.
This is his YouTube Reacts to SuperPsyguy video. It is very different from the other YouTube Reacts videos. It's not a joke. These people speak very seriously, very candidly about the things this SuperPsyguy has done. There's a link to a tumblr blog in the video's description which details the numerous, and very serious allegations against him. Things like Gaslighting, Grooming, Sexual Coercion. Again: serious stuff.
So, the question is: How is Bryon "SuperPsyguy" Beaubien any different from Zoe Quinn? According to Eron Gjoni, Quinn made him doubt his sanity (Gaslighting) and she tried to control his actions. She purportedly sexually abused a colleague, Wolf Wozniak. She's used her connections to silence criticism and avoid attention.
Why is it okay to publicly humiliate Beaubien and out him as a predator, but doing the same to Zoe Quinn is misogyny? Why is she worth defending?
