the original home world of the kroks one of those open bits in the lore that could go really well or really poorly.

It’s probably gonna end up as a zone in a larger world, à la Gobblerton. I think this could work for Rajah but there’s already enough to go off of with South Asia that using a whole zone for that might be a bit wasteful.

Another idea is a combined home world for all pseudosuchians (kroks, gators, gharials, countless extinct oddities like desmatosuchus (who had horns!!)). This world would ideally have no Earth region as direct inspiration, à la Khrysalis.

What i really really don’t want is another krok-dominated or Egypt-inspired world. I liked Selenopolis (for the most part) but until we have manders being narratively rewarded for killing marleybonians i don’t think we need to do krokotopia again.

my take on spiralverse earth is that they should either

1: hero101 earth concept (easy) 2: apocalypse setting (opportunity to be angsty) 3: generic Big City thats painfully inspired by New York but in a "the googlygabas go to The Big City and they must put on the worlds best talent show and win the great big baseball game in order to save their friend who has been kidnapped by the villain who wants to build an Factory over the googlygaba forest and somehow secret agents are there" type way (really fucking funny)
