Welcome to NightVale is very WHcore, but I've been re-listening and i think the intro to episode 77 really nails it:

man. idk about the rest of wtnv, but that quote’s really good i like it a lot. WHcore approved.

Monty wagging his tail when happy is cool, but consider: reptiles lash their tails when angry and before biting.

Just imagine his tail lashing as he destroys his room, knocking things over and contributing to the chaos. Knowing when he's jokingly mean and actually being mean due to the end twitching erratically. Him getting mad at a guest and MC having to intervene because his tail is slowly starting to wave back and forth (they don't need a bite of 20xx on their hands).

Yeah!! That's also definitely a HC I share. If you know him well, it's easy to see when he's starting to "tense up." Tail swaying, jaw and fists clenching up, him starting to hunch over (like he's very subtly getting ready to lunge).

I never. I had never seen your modified colour theory post before about the children's hospital. I thought it was, like, some sort of regular satire where the red had been changed to a rainbow. And then as I scrolled I saw the same dialogue for the 'dragging dead bodies'. And bear in mind I have not participated in Homestuck for a while, okay. It had been lying dormant.

So I scroll back up, a mildly confused expression on my face. What could they mean, its a rainbow. How is that-
