I have a tablet it’s not the best and I got it when I was like 13 but it’s like. A tablet with a pen that you plug into your computer?? IDK if that’s what you meant but yeah. Also lots of practice and layers
yeah lmao I’ve had my trusty wacom intuos since 2009 (idk how it’s still working tbh) and like... you’d think with years of practice under my belt I’d be able to somehow get my digital style to resemble my pencil and paper style but uh... nope
Merry Yule, Unsightlybitties! I hope your season is bright and warm, and filled with love. For your presents, I chose to gift you a random (wishing) spell, a blessings candle, and my favorite holiday recipe. I hope you enjoy! ~~~~ Yule Wishing Spell: [following materials above]
On the eve of Yule, collect a handful of holly leaves or pine needles. Remember the tree you plucked from. Set them somewhere dry over night. The next day, on the evening of Yule, crush the dry leaves or needles into a fine powder. On your piece of paper, write in red ink a single wish you have for the year to come. Sprinkle the powder into the center of the paper and fold the paper (almost like a sachet) around the powder. Light your candle now, and use it to burn the paper and powder. Make sure you do this on a safe, hard surface so you don’t light anything else on fire (maybe use a cauldron, if you have one, or tin foil). As your paper burns envision your wish being fulfilled. The spell is done. Bury your ashes under the tree you got your leaves or needles from. ~~~~ Candle Blessings:
May your Yule be merry and bright. May you find prosperity in the year to come. May your heart be filled with love. May you feel the warmth of all of the blessings that come your way. May you search for opportunities to bless your life. May those opportunities come to you. May 2017 be a successful year for you in your craft. May you find peace, safety, security, and a lifting of burdens. Blessings your way, forever and always. Blessed Yule! ~~~~ My Favorite Holiday Recipe:
*Crockpot Butter, Garlic, and Herb Mashed Potatoes* Ingredients- 2 lbs red potatoes, washed and chopped (no need to peel) 4 tbsp butter ½ cup sour cream 1 tbsp minced garlic 1 tbsp parsley flakes ½ tsp basil ¼ tsp organic 2 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper ¼ cup milk Instructions- 1. Add chopped potatoes to a lightly greased crockpot. Cover and cook on high 2-3 hours. 2. When potatoes are tender, add all remaining ingredients. Let butter melt for a few minutes, then used a hand mixer to mash the potatoes until all ingredients are well-combined. 3. Serve warm. This is a great recipe for warmth, safety, and prosperity, as it has salt, basil, and garlic in it. It also tastes delicious and goes well with other Yule recipes.
