While writing the Flapjack review, I really wanted to include a joke about Candy Wife being the ex-wife of the Kandy Man from Doctor Who. But as much as I want to avoid admitting it, the overlap in my audience between cartoon fans and Whovians is pretty slim. And what are the chances every Whovian knows about a one-off villain from the 80s that isn’t allowed to appear again due to copyright troubles involving Bertie Bassett?
