If RTD wanted to be a hit with the kids, he should have revisited The Happiness Patrol and brought back the Kandyman. Like.... child-like elements with a horror undercurrent? Do I need to say more?

Doctor who in 28mm It the Kandyman! A bit of an harder one to get right as his left leg changes colour from yellow to green.
While writing the Flapjack review, I really wanted to include a joke about Candy Wife being the ex-wife of the Kandy Man from Doctor Who. But as much as I want to avoid admitting it, the overlap in my audience between cartoon fans and Whovians is pretty slim. And what are the chances every Whovian knows about a one-off villain from the 80s that isn’t allowed to appear again due to copyright troubles involving Bertie Bassett?
High if they’re anything like me, but still.
