im super late but i finally did that akira anniversary fanart 🎉🎉

welp just watched Akira for the first time

i wasn’t expecting such fluid animation, or the cool attempt at lip syncing through the whole film rather than brief key moments, this definitely is not the conventional anime :V in fact the visuals move so much i actually had to switch to dub for once to not miss the emoting!

and also i only had a vague expectation from seeing images of Biker Boy and Flesh Pile that have been around forever (i thought it was about a biker with super strength that turns eldritch, though i wasn’t TOO off the mark there…) so i was surprised with how actually sad this movie is

9/10! (8/10 for English dub tho)
